here...you can just walk in and go right up to the concessions counter and order whatever you want, then turn around and leave. you don't have to buy a ticket to a movie.

i guess in some places they take your ticket at the front door? but it's not like that, here. they don't take your ticket (or look at it) until you go behind the concession (or to the left or right of it depending on how the theater is designed). so you can just walk in, go up to the concession counter, order something, then leave.

I'd assume it was illegal, the e-mail just said something about Peer to Peer downloading of movies, music, files. I just changed our WiFi password and told the Girl not to share it with him, of course that won't stop him from connecting his laptop via ethernet while we're asleep or at work. He's a f**king bum, so making him pay for at least half the internet cost won't get me very far. The kid hasn't held down a job in years, I've helped him twice get decent jobs with the company I work for , both times ended up biting me in the a$$ as he would work one -maybe two- weeks then quit. Personally if it were up to me I would've left his dumba$$ in jail (we bailed him out 3x over the last year) but i understand my fiancee's motive here, he's her baby brother so she feels obligated to take care of him. Still it seems like a silly justification if you ask me though


O/T: Just got home from work and stopping at my folks' house to help my mom file her taxes. Managed to get her an extra $500 refund, so I feel good about that(too bad I can't pull that magic for my own..) Currently having a beer and trying to relax a bit..

Why not set your router to blocked his computer? You should also be able to set up a white list for devices approved to connect via Ethernet.

It's snowing now.

Snow doesn't bother me. The State of New Jersey not salting or plowing bothers me.

It's taken care of this time and shouldn't be too bad.

well, we don't get snow all that often, here. so when they say the word on the news/weather report, people freak the **** out and hit the grocery stores. and, like i said in my previous post...do these people not keep food in their homes at any other time? they hear the word snow and automatically think of a city like buffalo and the amount of snow they get. and they think they're gonna be "snowed in" for days or weeks at a time and not have access to food, water, etc. but we MIGHT get like 2-3 inches when it does snow, here.

Pretty much got all my stuff except for 1. Unfortunately, it's another year of getting a nice refund but not doing much in regards to fun. Paying some debt down, getting 2 trees chopped down, renewing another year of AAA, among a few other small things. Leftover money will be used on a few things, like zoo membership and taking the kids to Build-A-Bear.

I do my own taxes, no rush there
