My HD DVD player will remain hooked up until it dies so if I see a movie much cheaper on HD DVD then I will buy it on that format. I'm all about saving a few pennies now.

This scenario isn't likely since I bought pretty much what I wanted before the format went away that I doubt I'll be faced with this but if I was, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Agreed.... when hd-dvd died..... I got a bunch of great movies for $3-10 each. I even got an extra player for $25 just to make sure I'd always have access to my collection. I haven't gone looking to see if anyone still has any great hd-dvd deals in a long time though.

I don't buy them anymore. Stopped in late 2007. I still see them around for sale here, especially at Sears for some reason.

I havent bought any but Ive been amazed at how costly they are at places like FYE etc. I was there today and HD DVDs were going for $15 or so. Granted its FYE and everything is expensive but at the price i doubt they will ever unload their stock.
