well, the big phone with a heavy-duty case i don't mine.....'cause i have one. i have the galaxy s8+ in an otterbox defender case. the "regular" size phones look and feel so tiny to me. plus i have large hands so the "+" size phones are perfect, for me. and i've always had otterbox defender cases on all my smart phones.

also, i don't wear tight pants and i always keep my phone in a front cargo pocket. i do wear jeans, sometimes. but i don't like my pants to be tight so my jeans are kind of loose-fitting so it's easy to put my phone in a front pocket. it's rare that i use my back pockets.

I was thinking of the OtterBox cases when I wrote that post. They do like like they work great! I don't wear really tight pants but sometimes pockets can be kind of small.
I had this really cheap, and ugly, $7 case on my iPhone 6 and I'd get a compliment here and there and I'd wonder if they were being smartasses

Speaking of apparel, do any of you guys have any zippered items that have the zipper on the left-hand side?

the jacket i wear when it's cold has 2...1 on either side. and that's where i keep my phone and wallet when i'm out and wearing the jacket.

I mean doing something now while trying to pay bills as I figure out what I want as a career. Though possibly ultimately using Anthro and History in some way other than writing. I would like to be like Micheal Crichton but at the moment I don't have any self esteem to send anything to publishers

I haven't done my taxes yet and I'm wondering if my refund is going to be smaller this year. Last year I got to keep more of my earnings because of, what I believe, a bill that the President signed (not sure which one) that authorized a temporary Income Tax rollback (maybe I'm making this up or remembering the facts wrong). Anyway, my weekly salary last year was slightly bigger than it was the previous year. I could never figure out why and, incredibly, the bookkeepers at my job didn't know why either. So I hope that won't lower my refund somehow. Last year I got the biggest refund to date and it felt NICE.

I already got my refund.

Everyone kept saying 'your refund is going to be approximately 23% bigger this year because of Trump's tax cuts from last year' but my refund was almost exactly the same.
