When I rented KOH from Netflix, it came out of their Louisville distribution center, as opposed to the Dallas Center which is about 25 miles away... added about 2-3 days each way onto the shipping times...

Their infrastructure seems to be running very smoothly for DVDs, but you can't change an infrastructure designed to support millions of DVD subscribers to a system to meet the needs of far FAR fewer HD subscribers (remember, they also support that OTHER format) without a few growing pains... give it time, and it will improve, especially when the formats supported reduce from three to two.
