Are they all ported subs? I havn't gotten around to building the other 2 sealed box to try and mix ported and sealed together.
Well to be honest im not going to build the box, I know a guy that will do that part. I need to catch up with him and ask him a few spec questions. I plan on making the other two sealed 10in. |

In my room, the ported ones are louder, but the 15" sub is deeper. There are way too many factors involved. Cabinet, type of driver, size of driver, and placement in the room all affect the performance of a subwoofer. If you watch mostly movies and want your bass to be loud, get a ported one. If you want your subwoofer mostly for music and want your sub to be more gentle, get a sealed one. Of course, the size of the driver and cabinet has a lot to do with it. You can't easily compare a 15" sealed sub with a 12" ported sub or vice versa.
