It's good that they're supporting 3d in the US still but $34.99 for a standard Blu Ray package with 3d/2d package is a bit much when the ZAVVI 3d/2d steelbook is only $29.00 USD including shipping

I'm sure it'll end up being released at somewhere between $24.99 and $29.99 at Best Buy and Amazon. That's what all the other WB titles go for on release date.

Both Aquaman and the the new Fantastic Beasts movie are $27.99 on Best Buy at the moment. Sell the digital code and you can get another $5 back.

Hi, as the cinemas never had any reasonable showing of this in 3d . I had to bite the bullet and took my son to watch it flat. He really enjoyed the film and i was a bit bored . But would love to know how good the 3d was in this one ? As i hate giving the cinemas money for a 2d film when i wanted to see it in 3d

I hear what you're saying. I was watching Ninjago Lego 3D, and I just couldn't get into the story till the very end of the film. I felt the characters constantly trying to tell jokes every single line didn't help, as the jokes weren't that funny in my opinion. The 3D in Ninjago was low medium to medium 3D layering throughout from my theater experience. Just not enough for me to want to buy the blu ray 3D.

I heard the 3D in these Lego films is mild to medium at best most times.

Lego Movie 2 earned $34 million opening weekend in the US this past February 8th, 2019. They said it didn't meet sales expectations.

The 3D disc is up for pre-order at WBShop.com, so there will be a US 3D disc release.

That's good. The 3D version is entirely out of my local theaters at this point, only week 2 of its theatrical release. Not cool.

Yeah, I went to get tickets to see it in 3D and nowhere near me are there any 3D showings of this. I would even watch Spider-Man or Bumblebee again or even Aquaman if they kept the 3D showings. With 2D it's better to wait and watch at home.

So happy we'll have a 3D release for this movie. It's the only way it should be seen!

Agreed that 1 week of 3D in theaters is unacceptable for such a high profile film like Lego 2. Theaters now seem eager to dump 3D shows as fast as possible, if this is the current state of things at Cinemark, Regal and other big theater chains, who in the past, would have 3D shows for at least two weeks minimum.

But yes, good to see WB again supporting blu ray 3D.

Sad, sad, sad....
The German standard 2D Blu-ray title will be released on June 27, 2019.
There is no Amazon.co.uk 3D, 2D, or 4k release date yet.

Just saw it tonight and I was kind of letdown. It was missing the magic that the first one had with its big reveal. It had some good moments, but they weren’t in abundance like the first. Plus I thought the 3D was pretty lacking too. Some ok depth, don’t remember any pop outs and it didn’t really add anything to my enjoyment of the film. Might pick it up when I find a dirt cheap copy and see if a 2nd viewing at home changes my mind, but overall 2.5/5

Yeah same in French-speaking Switzerland. Zero 3D showings, not even any 3D in the massive multiplexes that usually show at least one of each existing version (let alone any 3D with English audio + French subtitles). I'm sending a letter to the distributor - what else can one do...

Is it normal for WB to only list their US version on their shop and not on Amazon?

It's normal for Amazon to not list plenty of Warner items for the last 3 months or so sicne they've apparently entered Disney Style negotiation stage

WB doesn't have a choice what Amazon lists. As far as I'm aware Amazon hasn't carried many real Warner 3D in over a year, only those stripped down, 50% Premium 'Exclusives' either missing a Digital (JustLeague) or missing the 2D disc (most every item since JL)

OTOH, this isn't listed in any other site I'm aware of since it's not been officially announced yet. In 2-3 weeks I'd expect the good retailers will put up their preorders

Don’t buy 3D WB discs from Amazon, they charge more and omit the 2D Blu as well. I haven’t used WB shop, but a lot of their 3D titles show up there first I believe, but deep discount usually carries them as well, and they sometimes partner with Best Buy for a in store exclusive that also includes a slip cover and DVD.
