If you're implying it hurts me, not in the least. I couldn't give a shit, just providing a counterpoint/stating an opinion much like you did.
Again they are a business. They need to protect their bottom line, love it or hate it.
As for concussions. While as eye opening as that is, what is lost in all that discussion is that players....still to this day...will sacrifice their own safety for a chance at production which ultimately equals money.
This is why I mentioned years ago that the NFL should be classified as a hazardous job, becasue it is! Players would sign a waiver acknowledging this, or something along these lines. This gets any elephants out of the room.
How can the league possibly protect any player that doesn’t want to protect themselves? A lot of education has happened in a very short period of time, but there are still guys, and a culture, that puts personal safety on the back burner for a highlight reel play.
No amount of parenting can prevent that.

Kyler Murray put out a statement that he is fully committed to football moving forward.

Hunt is getting a second chance because he's young and hitting his prime. If Ray Rice was 23 he would have gotten a second chance. Instead he was 27 and coming off the worst season of his career so he wasn't worth the PR hit.

So CAR just signed Reid to a 3 yr deal. Wonder what that means for his collusion case?

He’s worth a flyer from a football perspective, but it’s going to be a tough sell for some fans.

Just read an updated story that he believe it helps his collusion case.
But yes $7m a year for a solid safety is absolutely worth it. I don't think fans care much about the whole kneeling anymore and he really isn't the face of the movement so it's easy to swallow if you are a CAR fan. He always deserved to keep playing, I wished the Niners would've kept him. I don't care about all of the extra stuff. It will be interesting to see if the media recycles the kneeling issue again once the season is ready to get underway again.

I really don't think that would have been true. The Ray Rice incident was far, far worse than the Hunt incident. Even if Ray Rice were 23 I don't think anyone would have touched him again.

Combine & draft got even more interesting.

Also they said hunt will probably be suspended 10-12 games so will be awhile till he plays in a regular season game anyways.

I think some version of a Foles for Fournette deal with Jax could still happen. I know he comes with some issues but I wonder how much of that is on him versus the locker room. It's not like Hunt will be playing anytime soon anyway.
