I agree with your statement. I too was expecting more and I think the trailer for this film was very misleading. The first 30 minutes had some great action but that was it. I wasn't expecting Rambo but after that the next hour was rather slow and I understood the story very well and had great performances. I just had a problem with the pacing. I would say give this film a rent before you buy. I love Ridley Scott, DiCaprio and Crowe but was disappointed in this one.

Saw it in the theaters too. I'm on the fence on this one but will probably end up buying it eventually.

I'm glad to see this movie got a good review. No joke; I'm buying it on day one just for the inclusion of the new Guns N' Roses song at the end of the film.

Loved the G-n-R song at the end....(but then I bought the new cd--not so good)
