The packaging and presentation of Creepshow is fantastic; debating on buying a 2-disc case and snagging Just Dessert to make a definitive edition. That said, this recent watch didn't do a whole lot to change my opinion of the film. I'm a huge anthology fan and I've just never gotten the appeal here. The stories are all just "okay" to me even if the comic-book details are all very well-done, resulting in a serviceable horror film and nothing else.

Final Exam was a lot of fun; like The Burning from the same year, I dug how we got to spend a lot of time with pretty relatable characters before $hit gets real. The atmosphere for a small, desolate college was palpably foreboding.

Won't crack Night of the Demons until Halloween, but this is one of my favorite horror films of its decade...just ridiculously fun in all aspects. I wasn't going to spring for the 4k but the uptick was enough to go for Shout's pricing, and I'll probably be able to flip their earlier release for what I paid for it.

All in all, this time, thank you Scream.
Highly agree on Creepshow. I think it's a fun anthology film but far from being the masterpiece everyone says it is.
Still need to check Final Exam, seems like a very fun slasher.

Watched the trailer for The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires & I think I'll be blind buying it.

Don't think anybody here is openly "hating" it; it is a fun and well-made movie. I just think it falls short of its lofty status as THE anthology horror flick.

Give me Trick 'r Treat any day (but especially on Halloween )

Maybe I'll finally jump on it since I trust your taste in movies for the most part
It helps if you're into Halloween...for October enthusiasts, Night of the Demons is a total blast.

Creepshow is just okay to me. I don't find it to be engaging at all. A bit like the processed American cheese of horror.

Is this only on select items? Have an item in my cart, over $30, and I’m not seeing the discount.

Which item is it? If it’s already on sale, it’s excluded.

[QUOTE=Scream Factory is hard to reach, thin-skinned (on social media), and regularly bullies smaller retailers into keeping their prices inflated. Their fall from grace has been breathtaking.[/QUOTE]

AGREE 100% I was inquiring about ordering the NOTC with figurine and having my order combined with my friends order, as we live in the same city, and got a polite response with some snark in my FB messages about not tagging him, as he doesn't work in customer service, and that he had asked me once before to not use his personal page to ask SF related stuff.

1) It's so obvious he doesn't work in customer service as if I ever said something with even just a tint of snark when I was a manager at Blockbuster, I'm pretty sure that would not have gone over well.

I sent them an e-mail and its now three days later. They haven't answered my question; but have sent me multiple e-mails to empty my cart. Um. I will when you answer my freaking question.

It comes across in my opinion has some elititst club that thinks they are better then everybody cause of where the work and what they do. With psychical media dying depending on what site you visit, or article you read, you'd think they'd be nicer to customers.

2) When said person is constantly using his personal page to promote SF titles. He needs to pick a lane. IE. You can't ***** when someone tags you with a legit question knowing that a) you are the face of the company, well one of them, and 2) your customer support is seriously lacking. IE. DON'T POST ANYTHING RELATED TO YOUR WORK, if you don't want any questions. KEEP it 100% separate.

I personally think they should cool off from releasing any more titles until all customer issues are resolved and they I don't know improve their customer service. I have sold many things online long before scream factory existed and I have had 0 complaints from my buyers, and I pride myself on that.

haters, if you hate scream factory so much... don't buy it. there are enough of us who buy the titles that they will be fine. guess what? I'll buy more titles from them myself just to spite you.

I have a fair amount of scream factory releases and I wouldn't say I've had any huge problems with any release. the one time I did have an issue (which wasn't even an issue) was the army of darkness release. but I had no issues getting the replacement disc. they have been friendly when I asked them questions on social media.

im glad they are making money and look forward to more releases from them. I could understand complained about pricing, but it's not cheap to put out these titles and I know they've put out some stuff that didn't bring a ton of money back to them.

I wish there was a better way to search on prime, but I remember hearing that they had access to the corman library. and there is a lot of good corman stuff steaming on amazon prime.

Yeah great plan, spend all of your money on Blu-rays in a failed attempt to piss off some strangers on the internet.

I don't know what's worse, the possibility that you actually put thought into that or that your brain may have been operating on autopilot.

You're a glistening product of our current school systems.
