The Killing Season 2 finally coming to blu ray for the first time.

Release date is (edit) September 1 (2014). Coming from Mediumrare Entertainment.

Edit: Unfortunately, Amazon UK has just sent an email saying the release date has been pushed back to September 1.

It seems Mediumrare Entertainment will release the final (4th) season of the show on blu-ray!

Anybody have this title on Blu-ray?
I was thinking about upgrading to Blu-ray, but I'll need to grab a region free player as well. I have Seasons 1 through 3 on DVD; seasons 2 & 3 are Amazon MOD & they're great...but my Samsung 4K TV & UHD Blu-ray player aren't kind with DVD. The picture isn't great.
Back when I had a simple HD setup, my Blu-ray player would upconvert my DVD's & the quality was significantly better -- 4K makes most DVD's unwatchable & applying different settings or adjusting the source signal doesn't provide much difference.

Yeah I own this great set & definitely recommend getting a region-free blu-ray player (I own many & enjoy so many other regions to watch, I'm in the USA... best investment I ever made for movie/tv show watching pleasure!

The video on the Blu-rays is typically great, but the audio on season 4 in particular isn't anything to write home about.
