Default Is HBO Still Releasing Digital Codes For Verified Blu-Ray Purchases?

I just got a couple of HBO shows recently on Blu-Ray that had UV releases packed in later.

Since it's 2018 and I know they did this process before, is it still active and valid?

I'm fascinated by this idea, as I own both "Band Of Brothers" from the original release, as well the complete series of "Rome", but I imagine you will need to provide a receipt?

I believe both series were purchased by me on WBShop, which has since gotten rid of my order history.

A few I know, but of the following titles, which of these have had re-releases with digital copies:
  • Band Of Brothers
  • Bored To Death: First Season
  • How To Make It In America: First Season
  • How To Make It In America: Second Season
  • John Adams
  • Rome: The Complete Series
  • The Sopranos: First Season

To my knowledge, "Band Of Brothers" and "Rome" has. "The Sopranos" has as part of the complete series, but not as a season set? The others haven't at all, correct?

Photographic proof of ownership was all that was required. I did write a long message on the help site at hbodigital about how as an early adopter I felt I was getting less value by paying more then someone now who bought the item at a reduced rate but received the content on additional mediums to enjoy.

Based on thread, I requested HBO to provide me with digital codes for the HBO complete series I've purchased. Namely:
  • John Adams
  • Band of Brothers
  • The Pacific
  • Deadwood

They responded that 'John Adams' and 'The Pacific' didn't have a digital release by HBO.

Quote:
Unfortunately The Pacific is not available for digital copy redemption through HBO. We regret any inconvenience caused.
They asked for proof-of-purchase for both 'Band of Brothers' and 'Deadwood'. This was in the form of photos of the outside and everything included with each set. Which I provided.

Today they replied back with codes for each of the series.

Thanks for the thread, I would have never thought to contact them with out it!

I knew "John Adams" hadn't, though I submitted a picture of the set with a picture of my e-mail address just in case I was wrong (along with a photo beside several other series like "Bored To Death", "How To Make It In America", etc.), but I did manage to get codes for "Rome", "The Sopranos", several seasons of "True Blood", and "Band Of Brothers".

I could have sworn "The Pacific" was released with a digital copy, but looking at Blu-ray.com, that's apparently correct.

I'm jealous of those of you with "Deadwood" and "Entourage" sets too.

I brought Deadwood the complete series from BB back in Dec 2017. I thought I saw that it would come with Digital codes. Just opened it a few days ago & no codes in the box set.

As far as I know, the caveat is the series has to have been re-released w/ a digital copy since you bought it. Now, Generation Kill is another HBO show I have on blu-ray and I did do a quick search to discover if it would be eligible or not but wasn't able to find any re-releases with a DC. However, I could have missed something as my search wasn't very thorough.

Also, maybe this thread could be of help to you: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=265595
