Seems like a future Hulu project to me. Once Disney gains more percentage control of Hulu their R rated stuff will end up over there...Including Daredevil and Punisher God willing.

Which is a bad thing. Mainly because it then raises questions of timelines beyond what's already been questioned.

I'd rather Marvel do a "Marvel Dark" brand for R rated movies and let them connect into the MCU. Deadpool would be a great conne tive tissue with beeped and censored dialogue boxes appearing and him cutting off characters mid swear with a quip.

Honestly, i think Disney under the Marvel brand would be perfectly fine taking the risk. It would actually be easier to have Deadpool transition and have him joke about "Parallel dimensions or just executive convenience" for him being part of the MCU R rated world and having the movies retoconned to allow him to appear extracated from the X Men timelines and into his own world with stories yet to be told in the MCU.

Assuming this happens eventually, as a movie or a series, it won't be with Snipes.

I loves me some Blade (even the third one) and would love for more. If they don't bring Snipes back a reboot series would be fantastic.

Not really, they'd just be bringing back the actor. Like how Judi Dench played M in both Goldeneye and the Craig reboots.

That said, I'd prefer they just do a straight Blade film first before trying to train his daughter approach. If they did that for the 2nd film, I'd be okay with that, just would like a solo Blade film to develop him first.

Snipes had his shot in the role, and he was good at the time. Let a new actor have at it. And I'm all for this.

Yeah, Wesley is a bit too old now. Don't want him breaking his back on set.

No one should ever look to the Bond series as a model of continuity lol. The MCU's success in large part is predicated on how well they've maintained their continuity. Bringing back Snipes just doesn't fit that.

And Snipes is unnecessary anyway. There's this guy named Mahershala Ali who would be a perfect Blade.

Yeah I doubt it'll be R rated but we'll see. Not interested in this either. Aside from X-Men and Fantastic Four, the MCU after Endgame is looking pretty dull imo. Doctor Strange 2 and a third Spidey film are all that I'm really anticipating.

Yeah, the future of the MCU looks bland. I'm sure things will be more epic again. But right now, nothing has been confirmed.

I'm interested in Far From Home and Eternals.

Yep, Strange 2 as well.

Well, if Storm is in it then maybe. I just can't think what they can possibly introduce in Black Panther 2 for me to get excited. Like for example, it seems they already used up a good chunk of Black Panther's rogue gallery in the first one. I predict Black Panther 2 will borrow a villain from a different Marvel property like Kraven The Hunter, or Namor.

If it weren't for X-Men and Fantastic Four coming into the picture then I'd be a little worried, not gonna lie. Hopefully the Sony deal is renewed because there's so much more than could be done with Spider-Man, he'll play a big part in whatever comes next, at least for me.

Black Panther 2 doesn't do it for me either, wasn't a fan of the first one.

I think Trevante Rhodes could make a good Blade! Maher Shaka Ali would be great too!

Would be fine with Kraven or Namor, I'm expecting the latter to get introduced at some point anyway. Everything being a shared universe kinda blurs the lines in terms of what villains "belong" to what heroes, and I like that.

They are already doing that now. A lot of the characters in the Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain Marvel movies are actually Fantastic Four characters, and Ghost from Ant-Man and the Wasp is actually an Iron Man villain. Wouldn't surprise me if Marvel decides to add X-Men's Shi'ar Empire in a Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3. Would prefer if Shi'ar stay with X-Men, but as long as the Shi'ar and the X-Men crossover later, then I'm okay with it.
