OK, that's it. Battle lines have been drawn!

Honestly, they are so different that I don't see what they have in common other both taking place during the conflict in Vietnam.

Apocalypse Now takes place in a war zone, but it isn't a war movie.

Well... it kinda bombed and overall consensus is that it was a misstep for McFarlane. Personally, I think it's a great comedy western.

Truth... It's backdrop is the war in vietnam, but it's totally an adventure quest/drama.

This scene in Matrix Reloaded is probably the single best filmed fight scene in film history. I'd even consider it superior to anything in John Wick, the Raid, Ip Man, MM: Fury Road, MI6, etc.

Talking about the Matrix. Matrix Revolutions is better than Reloaded.

Since someone posted a clip from The Matrix Reloaded (2003), I can't think of a lot of things that are as ridiculous, embarrassing and stupid as bullets in slow motion in those kinds of scenes.

I don't know if I agree with you about that one, as it was many years ago I saw The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003), but a lot of movies are better!

I saw A MILLION WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST opening day and really enjoyed it. The critics raked it over the coals and it disappointed at the box-office, but it was a fun and raunchy diversion...I felt TED 2 was similarly underrated. The terrific cast in WEST is a pleasure to watch and appear to be having a good time (I enjoyed Charlize Theron's good-humored remark some time after the release that MacFarlane only made the movie as an excuse to make out with her ).

Right, in the sense that it's primarily an adaptation of Heart of Darkness.

I wouldn't go that far. I do believe that Matrix Reloaded is better than The Matrix, but not Matrix Revolutions.

Overall though, I think it's one of the best trilogies ever. Never understood the dislike for the sequels, never will.
