Grabbed Double Dragon over the weekend.......great release! Was stoked to see the cartoon pilot episode as a bonus feat.

Yes. Rewind collection gets slips, and it's 1 disc.

"First... You may have noticed that the street date for Double Impact pushed to May 28th. This title was a license from MGM and as a result there are more creative and legal people involved and whatever we do, MGM has to approve everything we would like include in this release. The rules are a little different working with a big corporation and the approval process is exceptionally detailed and things take a little longer as a result, I will say the team over at MGM is great (some of the people that I'm working with on this release were there back when I worked at MGM so it was fun to reconnect) and this release is shaping up nicely. I hope to have a final update with all of the features later today."

Haven't heard anything from MVD Rewind Guy for quite some time now. Keeping busy I guess?

Probably busy fighting MGM to do a new master for The Terminator - MVD Rewind Collection.

Hope MVD Rewind is still looking into getting access to the PM Entertainment library. So many B-movie gems that need to be rediscovered on bluray.

Wal-Mart in Canada finally seems to be getting in Double Dragon. However, they are selling it for $29.96 and no slips at either location that I went to. Glad I picked it up at Sunrise on release week. Really thought that Wal-Mart would have had a more competitive price on this.

Some of those stunts are balls out. They sure don't do 'em like that any more. I wish they'd show movies like this on late night TV like they did when I was a teenager.
