They're probably suffering over there, trying to get through 400 or so orders for LV/FE, and that's assuming they were lucky enough to have a bunch of people buying 2 or 8 copies. It could be closer to the full 500. I have trouble remembering to get to the Staples to mail one Amazon return.

As to the USPS delays, these days, USPS workers are so pressed for time, they often forget to do the origin scan. Your item could arrive, get a final delivery scan and never be trackable via the site. My favorite mail carrier commented on the issue several times, that there just isn't any time anymore. So, if you've seen no movement for a week, it is probably in transit. A couple days, it is probably in the pile waiting to go out to USPS. Either way, I wouldn't worry. DF is pretty reliable when it comes to shipping.
BigCommerce has partnered with Endicia so he should look into setting up that option. I'm assuming he is taking these to the post office and paying retail prices there and this option would sure beat paying full price. Another option is to use PayPal ShipNow were he could print postage from PayPal at the Commercial rates.

So the new scenes shot in 1981 are on the HV tape but not on LAST VICTIM or FORCED ENTRY. That's a huge running time difference.

I was going to buy forced entry but your store is closed

Then i read that you released the cut version of the film. Is that true? Glad your store was closed so i couldn't buy it. That's a deal breaker.

I don't have the Dark Force disc yet, but the HV tape of FORCED ENTRY has several rape scenes. Anything in the spoiler tags missing from the Dark Force disc?

WARNING!! Huge spoilers!!!! And somewhat graphic.

[Show spoiler]
The garage mechanic rapist lives at home with his pet rabbit, eats Corn Pops, and narrates the film. He first attacks a woman who is having car trouble, he strips her naked in the woods, rapes and kills her. Later, he ties up a bicyclist in hot pants, he rapes her in slow motion and even uses a coke bottle on her ( - classy!), then beats her to death with one of his wrenches. Then he picks up hitch-hiker Nancy Allen and forces her to do a bj, and then rapes her. Then he sets his sights on Tanya Roberts for the finale. Housework, shower, then he ties her up in bed, etc.

The Last Victim is the cut I think most would want. The longer cuts, including the one on this disc, has a bunch of crudely inserted scenes similar to what was done with the "uncut" and inferior version of Franco's 99 women.

Re: store being closed, title was available for like a week and sold out half of it's run. There was plenty of time to buy, should subscribe to this thread or DF Facebook for notifications if you visit that infrequently.

^ Agreed, getting THE LAST VICTIM version is definitely still worth snatching
up this release.

As far as the FORCED ENTRY print goes, solely based on the reported running time on this release, it sounds like it would make a good double feature with THE HOUSE THAT VANISHED.

I'll take an 82 minute film over a 115 bloated film. If it makes sense to be that length I'm fine with that. Weird criticism. I only watch films over 90 mins *says no one.

Um, what? Misinterpret much? lol

I'm not advocating bloat. Just saying that 72 minutes is really short

No wonder the Demon started advertising it as The Last Victim recently instead of Forced Entry. Now they can claim there's nothing wrong with the disc cause that's not the main feature like The Carriers theatrical cut.

He should look into that, anything to save money and time. Post it again in a few days, in case he misses the suggestion.... The couple of shipments I got with handwritten addresses, prior to paying via paypal, had me imagining DD writing out these labels and crying, which would never happen, but, if it were me, I'd be crying, and a lot. Forgetting the basic issue of who wants to write out all those labels, I'd be making mistakes and having to start over because I didn't want anyone to see how clumsily I hand-write. Anything they can do to streamline the process would be great.

For me, Electric Boogaloo used to mean a terrible Cannon film. Now it means an awesome Cannon Documentary. I could watch it 100 times.

I often wish I had a film at under 80 minutes. Who has 120, or even 100, to spare? If it weren't for all the rape....

Good thing MMI and Point Doom are on the way.

I can answer some of this:

[Show spoiler]I watched both cuts last night. The FORCED ENTRY cut has the scene with the stranded motorist. He attacks her, strips her naked, kills her, etc.

The bicyclist scene is in both cuts, a little more graphic in FORCED ENTRY with the bloody wrench bit, though I don't recall there being a Coke bottle bit (it might've been too dark). I will double check this tonight if nobody beats me to it.

The Nancy Allen scene cuts away right as he forces himself up against her on her side of the car, then it cuts to the discovery of her corpse.

Well I can tell you with certainty that neither version included on the Dark Force disc runs anywhere close to that.

You watched Ator twice - a film you didn't like the first time
Personally, if a film doesn't grab me within the first 15 minutes, I give it up. Like you say, who has time to spare?

Worse than that.... I watch The Avengers (Marvel) once a year, to update my notes on what doesn't work for me, so I never make any of those mistakes in any of my stories. Granted, I never have or would make any of those mistakes, but it was so horrible (for me and maybe five other people in the whole country) that I wanted to make certain I never erred in precisely those ways.

In other words, two viewings of Ator is like not having watched it at all, for me. A film doesn't even count until I've seen it three or four times. Now that's really screwed up.

David's facebook is down. I went looking for the daily update, in case it was on Point Doom (yes, I really, really want that one) and there's nothing there but a picture, for Point Doom. Anybody know what's going on there? My first instinct is to ask if everything okay with Bill, so, information would be appreciated. I hope everything's alright.

Facebook has been experiencing outages and bizarre issues all day across the country. That's most likely what's going on.

On my end, it's just showing the Point Doom picture, no posts or anything, just the picture.

Then hopefully that's all it is. It's concerning, because it's never happened before and, then, we have the issue of Bill's health looming. I wonder if they know the page is down.
