Anyone know, is this a Google Play issue with all MA titles newly added or just the WB ones? My D2D didn't transfer to Google Play either.

I confirmed this myself, it seems to be all recently added MA titles. Is this a global issue?

Okay, I am still relatively new to the digital streaming world.
I've got some important questions?, I have several devices (1 phone, tablets, firestick), and Smart TVs using the same email and password, and all of my Vudu and Movies Anywhere accounts have the same amount of movies in them.
I keep hearing about shared accounts, and sub accounts, I guess mine do not fall in either these categories, I'm just confused what sub accounts are?

I can figure out what shared is, that would be sharing movies with friends with different emails I presume.

It's a version of family sharing where multiple households could link into the same Ultraviolet account and access shared content. Each primarybuser had 5 slots to invite whoever to share their account. For a few years now sharing has not been an option through Ultraviolet and Vudu althought Google Play and other vendors have a version of it. Subaccounts are those accounts linked into the main account - whatever purchases are made go into the primary account. Subaccounts is a loophole to M2D limit of 100 titles per year (because thats per account) and also allow maximum credit use when available (if a Vudu credit allows 5 redemptions that is also per account). At this point, because the feature has long been unavailable, it's a moot point to most peoole. Vudu allows you to link multiple devices to one account but thats intended to be per household whereas sharing would been in different households/people/locations. With the death of UV will also come the death of sharing. For now people with subaccounts might M2D or purchase UV content in those accounts to circumvent restrictions and as UV dwindles the less that's possible.

Thanks, so multiple devices and whatnot hooked on to the same email and password should be okay, pretty much an unlimited deal, as long as no more than 4 are streaming at the same time.

Should be. I know Vudu use to have a limit on how many devices can be connected to one account, I think it was 8 before, but recently people say they have more connected to the same account.

Ultraviolet used to allow sharing through Vudu. You could invite 5 others. Invites created their own accounts and any UV purchases would share between all the linked accounts. UV stopped allowing new invites around the time MA started iirc. Anyone who had previously setup sharing kept those links. It was a big draw for us to use UV and Vudu.

I bought a lot more movies knowing that family would appreciate them. In turn they'd buy things for me. It was great to know that a new release that I bought would also be available on my family's Vudu accounts. When I went to their house I could watch the majority of my purchases from their TV. A positive for everyone.

So its good to have these movies, new or old, in my account and my family's. That's why it matters.

The other sharing option is Google Play family sharing, but it doesn't work all that well GP has no filtering, and there's a lot of stuff that doesn't share there, as the movies were UV only. GP and Youtube doesn't work on all devices to play the purchases either. Around 700 titles from WB were UV only and now they're nothing. A lot of newer releases are MA only now, but we don't only watch new movies either.

UV greatly benefited so many of us and its a huge blow to see it go away.

That's the thing, was there *ANY* warning that UV was being pulled from all WB titles? A notice was posted to the VUDU user forums yesterday (the 13th), but that was after UV eligibility began dropping from WB titles on the 12th.

Kudos to Sony for upholding the commitment and sticking with both lockers, at least through today.

While it would have been nice, I don’t think they were obligated to give us notice.
The warning would have been or could have been the fact that Aquaman was not going to be UV.

Heh, I was just going to edit my post to comment that this post from Feb 26th, far short of a warning, might have tipped the more insightful to WB's exit from UV:

Felipe has been wrong so many times in the past. He said the same thing about Spider-verse and Sony, but ended up being false. Given his track record of false info while responding to threads, it was hard to take what he was saying as fact. Sadly, it ended up being true. But not enabling UV on a new release doesn't tell us they'll be removing UV from their entire catalog either. Would've been nice to get a heads up.

True. Honestly, I don't know he knows much of anything. I think he sees posts and then has to get info from higher ups. A lot of threads asking for assistance he will just ignore, probably because the higher ups ignored him. He banned me there for asking about seasons of Shark Tank. One season had missing episodes, I asked and he said they were removed by the studio because someone in the episodes had died... yet searching came back with nothing, and all the other streamers had the missing episodes. When I mentioned that I got the boot.

If you d2dm a bundle for $2, does that count as one of your 100 yearly redemptions or the amount of films in the bundle?

Are there any other big studios besides Disney that don't participate in this Disc-To-Digital program? I have some Amazon no rush credits to burn and was thinking about picking up movies I can't already get for $2 in this program? Thanks!
