Sony isn't messing around with the Morgan Creek releases; I'm a little surprised at how the old "Ace Ventura" Blus are fetching for high prices.

It’s a good early 90s thriller, I haven’t seen it in a while and some memories might be intermingled with Thunderheart, but I remember really liking it.

Tempted to get White Sands, already have the Ace films on Blu. Definitely surprised this was not brought up sooner as both Ace Ventura films have been OOP.

More like -- if they want to sell a barebones $25 item then I'll wait for a sale and get what I want then -- at least the Sony titles often have an extra or 2 included so the extra $3-4 per title over Warner or Universal is worth it. So far I have around 16 of the items in the OP so I'm doing my part. So far I've not bought the re-releases other than Sleepless in Seattle (added to my TT and AUS) and Return of the Living Dead (added to my TT item). At least 8-10 more are in my wish list for June.

If they want me to spend $25 then these are going to have to show some effort to be the same price as a New Release BD/Digital or even a 4K/BD/Dig with Extras and perks

Not much reason to buy these again

I would be in for Ace Ventura Pet Detective if they would include the director’s cut with the

[Show spoiler]extended scene with Carrey impersonating the dolphin trailer asking the reporters if the dolphin calls them at home.

I only saw it on the 4:3 dvd and I always assumed that was the regular edition. That was a much quoted line in my family so i noticed immediately when watching my WN disc.

Also, I accidentally ordered an extra copy of The Rider from FYE which is currently I transit. I am just tying to get my money back after shipping if anyone is interested.

Definitely in for White Sands, but I already have the UK Ace Ventura discs as well as the Indicator Modern Romance.

I also like to think this bodes well for a Pacific Heights release in the near future.

Or... you buy the tiles you really, really, really want now and wait for a sale to pick up some of the others.

I get that as a "blu-ray insider" you probably have a biased opinion, but not everyone can afford to spend frivolously on blu-rays non-stop, particularly if there are dozens of released from the myriad other labels you are interested in.
