Yes, the Morgan Creek catalogue was sold to them I think. Already got both of these on BD, can't imagine they'll be anything other than existing masters repurposed.

wait - does this mean Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves is with Sony as well?? If they deliver a UHD of the theatrical cut of that flick in a couple years' time (30th anniversary) then I may well have died and gone to heaven

I recently watched both films for the first time in about 20 years. My sense of humor is quite different now, so I was only mildly amused by the first film.

I still love Dumb and Dumber, though. Go figure.

As I understand Revolution Studios owns the Morgan Creek library internationally. They never announced a US deal so maybe they got them as well at some point? I don't really know how Revolution's deals with anyone work. Apparently they've a global licensing deal with Miramax as well.

Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves is still with Warner.

Incidentally, I bet dollars to donuts these are just reprints of the Warner discs.
