In hindsight too, Forced Entry should have been advertised as an Unrated version since referring to it as the R-rated version isn't correct either. Edits were made to the film after the film had been rated. This would have helped consumers make an informed decision and I'm sure, to some extent, it may have lead to some additional sales since some consumers would want to check out this unique cut.
We are already confused enough on this release. Let's just say they are both the Director's Cuts of the original PG and R rated versions. Never seen a release with this much damn confusion.

Store is open. A few copies remain of the Twin Titans combo, with SoaWN and LV/FE for 41.99. I can't remember who wanted both but they are still in stock, after my order.

Thanks to David for getting it done. Thanks to Bill for adding an older title I didn't have, until now.

Picked up the Rob's choice combo of LV/FE and Swinging Barmaids. For 36.99 I can live with that

There were about 7 left of them for those interested.

I wanted The Last Victim, but am a hesitant with all the recent talk about it. I really want to see SOAWN though. The price of buying that alone with shipping kills that for me. To hell with it, I'll go with the Twin Titans pack. $41.99 is a price I can more than live with for the two of them.

Nah, when a Director's Cut of a film is made I've never seen it common to refer to the film as the year the director made the director's cut or whatever cut of the film, we still refer to it as the year the film was originally released.

For instance, when discussing Blade Runner and referring to the Director's Cut or Final Cut version of it, we still call it "the blah blah blah cut" of Blade Runner (1982), not whatever year those cuts were made. Would be impossible to keep track of exactly what film people were talking about if every cut had to be referred to by year especially with similar titled sequels and reboots of many films.

This I would agree with.

The Last Victim: A deranged Vietnam Vet working as a car mechanic preys on young women. He stalks, rapes and murders them in grim detail.

Directed by Jim Sotos (Sweet Sixteen), The Last Victim is a non-hardcore XXX remake of Shaun Costello's sicko roughie Forced Entry.

Sotos' film ended up being heavily censored, re-edited, re-scored and a male voice over was added to tone down its potent combination of sleaze and brutality. The heavily edited re-cut was released to US grindhouses as Forced Entry and ended up being a total mess thanks to the careless re-cutting of its distributor.

The original uncensored director's cut, titled The Last Victim, never found its way to American screens. Thankfully, it did emerge in its original uncut form in the UK in the pre-certification era on the Intervision label.

The pre-cert Intervision tape is incredibly rare.1975 USA 83 mins

You're reversing Forced Entry and Last Victim. Last Victim is the less sleazy, less violent/more implied violence first-version. They then re-cut, more than once, adding voice over and brutality, to create Forced Entry. Last Victim was not censored to remove the R word but, rather, Forced Entry had a bunch of that added to Last Victim, along with the voice over, brutality, etc. In other words, the grim detail film is the fully uncut 88 minute version of Forced Entry, that I would never watch. The next most brutal cut is the one on the disc as Forced Entry. The one for people like me, who don't want to have to watch so much of that part, is the original Last Victim, where you get more story and a bit more of the implication of un-shown violence, at least according to the director himself. Are you saying he got it wrong?

"1975 DRIVE-IN HORROR PACK-Blu-ray-DARK FORCE" for 40 (free shipping)....

Only 19 copies remain. These are the last copies of Last Victim/Forced Entry, from the first batch of 500, alongside God's Bloody Acre and So Sad About Gloria.

All copies of Screams are gone. All other bundles and singles of LV/FE are gone.

....

Also, DD has just dropped off the original drive-in print from Gates of Hell to be scanned. He has said he will announce the co-title soon. Can't get that info soon enough, at my house.

Last Victim is the title of the pre-cert UK VHS tape. It is the Original uncensored Director's Cut. It runs 83 mins in PAL format. It never played in U.S. theaters or drive-ins. I'm in the States, so the people across the pond (if they were quick) got to buy or rent the tape of this version (Which has an A.K.A. of Forced entry to make things more confusing). The Last Victim was filmed to have a non-hardcore story of the Original 1973 film Forced Entry, Starring Harry Reems, which was rated XXX.

Which is based on the XXX movie Forced Entry pictured below...

and lastly, below is the re-done truncated version (which also has the A.K.A. of The Last Entry) we got in the states cashing in on the 2 future female stars

What year was the vhs? I ask because I've had a few PAL VHS and DVDs over the years that had the original title on new version films. Are you sure it isn't the Forced Entry cut with The Last Victim title? Granted, the full extended cut of Forced Entry would be around 85 minutes long, but there were several cuts in the early 80s. Also, the director was pretty clear that LV was the less-brutality version and Forced Entry, which went against his desires for a bit more implied violence, was the one with the additional brutality. I'd be curious to know if that VHS has the additional violence and that particular action that I opt not to mention by name.

The UK VHS was released in 1981

http://www.pre-cert.co.uk/display.php?vId=UK04147

Forced entry was subsequently rejected for a UK cinema release in 1982 (running time unknown)

http://bbfc.co.uk/releases/forced-entry

As to which cut is on the VHS, it's been decades and the only version that I've seen, so I don't know.

The whole thing sounds like a horrible patchwork mess of scenes added long after the fact, other scenes removed, shortened or re-arranged(!), different actors brought in with body doubles(!!) to "re-enact" scenes, holy jeebus. What am I in for here? Was Tanya Roberts even in the original film?

Last Victim DC 75mn / 1975 actually was a very good suspenseful movie with good plot and pretty good acting. Tanya Roberts did great here. Definitely worth a watch.

Forced Entry DC 72min / 1984 was more like what you describe with the plot and suspense blown away for more graphic violence scenes and inserts, the longest of which featuring a much lower grade of acting than the original film with an actress not present from the original film. Tanya Roberts didn't participate in this outing apparently as they had to hire a different actress to do her added in voiceover narration bits, whenever she appears on screen and you can see her face it's just stuff reused from last victim as far as I could tell. So technically while she appeared on screen for forced entry it seems she wasn't present for it.

I personally really liked Last Victim, reminded me of House on the Edge of the Park. I thought Forced Entry was mediocre though with the added in violent scenes being quite uneven in spots due to the poor acting, and added narration voiceovers being very corny. You got the disc now right? Watch em both but watch Last Victim first, you'll see what i mean.

Doubt it's oop. Every time they run low on stock they always pretend it's OOP. They probably sold out of the initial 300 copies Bill gave them.
