It's okay to stream rentals or watch Netflix, that would be very convenient. But if you love a movie, you should buy the Blu-ray, in my opinion.

I mean... wouldn't you want to physically own your favorite movies and have a nice collection forever? Limited Editions like SteelBooks are even better, they have great artwork, extras, etc. Physical gives you great memories and you truly own it.

I don't buy movies digitally. Sure it would be convenient, but actually owning a physical copy is better.

I was born in 1987. VHS, game cartridge, DVD, etc, is what I grew up with. I can't imagine buying digital movies like on Vudu, Google Play, etc. You don't actually own these movies. And if Vudu shuts down, guess what, no more movie to stream. Streaming is dependent on your Internet connection working as well, and that sucks.

I know the benefits of physical media, and that's why I stand by it. Streaming is just about convenience and nothing more, it is a disposable type of media. If you watch all movies just once and never again, streaming is perfect. But if you value things like high quality, ownership of a physical product, collecting, etc, physical is perfect.
