So apparently I missed the AU release which was region free. Does anyone know if the German release is region free? Also, what are the chances of the upcoming UK release being region free and not PAL speed. Thanks

I have the Australian release, which is the same as the German disc.

The UK release will be from Fabulous Films under license from Universal, and should be 1080p like the Australian/German Blu-ray. It will likely be locked to Region B, based on other Universal to released by Fabulous, so if you need a region free Blu-ray, you should get the German Blu-ray:
