i remember seeing the vol 1 as a steelbook picture,went to order yesterday and saw the pic changed so i will hold off for now.

I played around with it some more last night, and you don't have to go to 'Title 1' or anything like that even -- from the Region Locked screen you can actually go straight to the title menu and start the movie from there. Weird just this one appears to have slipped through.

And the pic on Amazon.fr for v1 is the same one that's been there for a while now. I've been checking prices for about a month now, and it's not changed as far as I know. It does slightly resemble a standard case, but it definitely still looks like a steel to me; the spine looks like a steelbook, and the labeling on the case looks like a painted case and not a slip label (there's a break in the yellow color on the spine at the bottom of the case).

I think it's still a steel.

The only part that makes me nervous is at the very top - the picture of KB2 has the distinctive steelbook spine at the top. KB1 does not. The top of KB1 looks more like a regular plastic case...

Just wouldn't want to spend the cash and get a plastic case, thats' all...

Thanks Dirty Money. Guess I'll have to get the Canadian release. Maybe someone would be willing to part with the steelbook case so i can at least own a 'steelbook canadian/french hybrid', but i highly doubt it

Are those OOP? The amazon.fr site has the picture of them up still.

AFAIK, TF1 Blu-ray SteelBooks are not limited editions.

I ordered both Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 from Amazon.fr on Feb 12th....they shipped Feb 13th and arrived today!

Both steelbooks were in perfect condition. So if you are wanting one I say order away!

I paid a total of 55,84 EUR or $71.33. That included shipping.

Was delivered in a thin cardboard foldover box. Have yet to receive anything from Amazon.de yet so not sure if it is the same.

.co.uk, .fr and .de ship in the same cardboard boxes. Notice all the different addresses on it? They get their supplies from the same supplier.

Yeah but if your order a big order they will ship in a big box.. that when it arrives the box has full of holes.. almost spliting into pieces
