My BB got 6 more steels in so they have 8 copies. I might return my copy since I haven't opened it and wait a while and see if there is a sale or price drop. They only sold 2 last week at my BB and I bought 1 of 2.

This will be $29.99 within a month if the stock doesn't go down. Following the exact same pattern as the first two Avengers Steelbooks in August.

I haven't bought the Avengers 4K steelbooks and couldn't remember what the lowest price has been. I know $29.99 now. If I can return mine, and save $5 in 2 or 3 weeks, I can wait and see. If the price hasn't dropped by April, I'll just buy it then.

I just opened mine yesterday and realized I got a dented corner in the upper right and already redeemed digital code. Hoping I can go into best buy and get an exchange for it since the dent is noticeable.

Yes you will be fine. Do you still have the code insert? I would place that inside anyways.

What I do is open up the new copy right there at customer service, tell them you already redeemed the code, and then end up just keeping the insert that you redeemed. So then you will have left your damaged copy with an unused, new code insert.

This theme seems to be more common than not with Best Buy steelbooks these days.

BB knows to not just send the full supply to each store on release day because they have to drive home that feeling of scarcity in order to get people to buy. It's basically proven true every time it happens this way, because retailers like BB don't just happen to get massive restocks of limited releases a couple days after the street date. These things sit in the warehouse for weeks leading up to their release. It keeps happening time and time again.

Steelbooks like 'Halloween' are the rarity. But those kinds of releases are few and far-between. Most new release steelbooks come back in stock. Unless it's something like A:IW where every store had 40+ copies to begin with. Other less notable releases can warm the shelves for months or years.

4 at my local store last night. There was a little more than 10 on release day from what I remember. Both Avengers and Age of Ultron got 12 each back in August, I assume it must have been the same for First Avenger.

I accidentally posted in the Winter Soldier thread but my local Best Buy restocked last week. Thursday they still had a few in Stock. When I went over there on Tuesday they had about 10 in stock
This is the first time in a while I've seen them restock on a Marvel steelbook

Went to pick up my copy of Creed 2 and they had zero copies Cap FA on the floor. Went to the second BB closest to me, to pick up Suspiria, also zero First Avenger in stock.

Back when I still liked marvel movies, really enjoyed the first cap film. That is likely one of the best steelbooks I've ever seen....do I need it? Probably.

Well if the Avengers SteelBooks are anything to go by then it’s gonna be a long wait cuz they’ve been out since August without a single price drop

Still surprised that at the 3 BB that I got to, they have between 4-6 copies of this steelbook still lying around. That's good news for whoever is still waiting to buy. On the other hand, I picture this drop to 29.99 in the next months if its still around.
