Sony can make a ultra high-end Blu-ray player, however the player might cost around $1,100 like the Pioneer Elite 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player. The Sony does not have as good as build quality as a Pioneer or OPPO, however the build quality is medium when compared to low end Blu-ray players for under $200. Most people well be happy with this Sony. For in production Blu-ray players that play both SACD and DVD-Audio there is only two brands to choose from now Pioneer and Sony. My first choice would be the Pioneer and second choice would be the Sony.
