the blue ones look nice my size is 8 1/2 wide and I never could find a wide shoe and usually had to go one size larger.

Personally, I get bored within 5 minutes.
Before a friend of mine moved to the east coast in 2007, we used to talk on the phone all the time because he lived way up in northern California and I live in the central valley. We'd only actually get to see each other every few or several months, so in between we'd have phone calls once or twice a month that could last as much as 5-6 hours. Now granted, I couldn't have such long phone conversations with many people. But we had so much in common it was easy to get on the phone and suddenly a few or more hours had gone by without even realizing it. Sometimes we'd talk until one of our phones started beeping to signal the battery was low. Haha!

Had to list my George Strait tickets for sale because my daughter's Girl Scouts has a family function on that same day for 'end of year' shenanigans.

Who is that in your avatar Wabo? Normally I'd be kind of tripping because I'm big on coincidences but I had never seen that pic before and I've now seen it twice today. I'm guessing Keith Richards?

We were thinking the bottom of a waterfall near where we met ~11 years ago, but apparently due to safety concerns that isn't feasible, so we're trying to reserve a pavilion in the state park near by. Of course that is proving to be more expensive than we expected. I'm trying to convince her that we should just have a JOP ceremony then throw a party for our friends & family at the campground we go to every summer, I mean, traditional wedding ceremonies are overrated right?

I'll try to keep this brief but will likely fail.

I recently was laid off. I worked for a small family owned business for roughly 19 years at which time the owner sold the company to a larger company. The larger company soon after decided they didn't want to manufacture products themselves and wanted to sub out that work to other companies so I and most of the people I'd worked with for years lost their jobs.
A significant portion of my job was not actually the building and testing of out product but in configuring units for jobs. Each one of the units would have a specific location code entered into the unit and a sticker with that location put on the unit to insure it was installed in the correct location. Just the other day roughly 8 weeks after I worked my last day I heard the woman who took over this portion of my job had been fired because she kept sending jobs out that were not configured correctly.
So yeah finding new employment has been weighing on my mind and now I feel guilty that this woman lost her job because she couldn't handle mine and I have no idea why I feel guilty. It wasn't my fault she lost her job, but still feelings aren't always rational are they, and we can't really control such feeling can we?

sux you lost your job. and, no, it's not your fault she couldn't do the job she was hired to do. that's on her. not every job is for every person. some people just can't do some jobs, even if they're basically simple. i've had to fire people because they would skip one crucial step and customers' orders would not get processed; so it was like the order never happened. and i could never get them to do that one step at the proper time...so i had to fire them. it sucked, and most times i didn't like doing it because they were good people. but they just couldn't get all the steps of the job done correctly.

Yes sir. That's the immortal Keith Richards. If you've been lucky enough to see this pic twice in one day, you've been blessed. Find some Mothers Little Helper and Paint it Black, baby!

I'd make a joke about you having hobbit feet but I'm not sure how sensitive you are
Which blue shoes do you mean? If there's a pair there that you like enough, I'll let you buy them for me

Guess you should have planned things out much earlier than a few months

I can’t get Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice out of my mind.

The bosses are insane! I haven’t seen anything this awesome since God of War 3.

The more I think about it, the more I need/want to buy this game.

I am both known as a hobbit and a leprechaun to my tall friends so it's fine

I rather like all the blue ones but since I bought some New Balances already I can justify getting buying some more

Ours is next week and has been a clusterf*** trying to get ready. It's basically a 3-day party at a lodge we rented out in the Blue Ridge mountains, so will be fun once we get to next weekend.

F*cking gutted bruh.

I'm in a club at my college, and there's more females than guys. It's like a 4:1 ratio.

There's this really cute girl I've been talking to.

At the end of the semester, we have a dinner ceremony.

The email called for "formal wear as if going to prom."

So, my buddies and I were jabbing at the event looking for 'prom dates.' When really we are just asking our female friends in the club to join us in going together.

I decided to ask this girl who I was into. Not with the intent as it being a date, but a fun night out as friends.

I ask and her blunt response was, "no. I don't see you in that way but only as a friend."

Which, while not my intention when asking, but definitely hurt my feelings as I thought there would've been hope in her as a possible candidate. But, I guess not as I now know how she really feels about me...
