I picked up a 4K copy of Ant-Man & The Wasp last week for £15, which wasn't bad.

I was just happy not to pay £20/25/quid for it.
I just traded in some stuff I picked up for peanuts and got three 88 Films Blus for £6 each, even though two were marked up at £8 each. BTW - anyone know where I can pick up a 4K copy of Kong: Skull Island that doesn’t take the piss? Kev W Last edited by ZombieTwin2; 03-26-2019 at 01:56 PM. |

Just got the Vanishing Point steelbook and the 1974 Gone in 60 Seconds (both on Blu-ray) in the post from CEX. Both in very good condition. VP even had the little card thing new steelbooks come with. VP was £18 and Gone was £10. Not cheap but they're both out of print and currently unavailable on Blu-ray in the UK.
Given some of the reports I'd read on this forum I half expected to receive Telly Tubbies dvds smeared in semen. |

Only had one disc bought in-store that skipped which I took back. Seen plenty of scuffed up/worn cases over the years in-store plus some reprinted covers. I've bought far more in-store than online. |

I've seen some pretty terrible reprints myself. Some stores just printed them in monochrome although never seen any like that in Norwich.

Was in the Ipswich store today, they have a lot of imports in there for whatever reason including a US disc, an Australian copy of Dark City, an Asian DVD of The Draughtsman’s Contract and a couple of others! Very odd. Had some nice discoveries recently though! ![]() ![]() £12 each ![]() £6 Some weeks are terrible but keep on getting nice finds, recently found some others like new films - How to Talk to Girls at Parties for £3.50, I Am Not a Witch for £5 - and other OOP titles like Knightriders for £8, Syndromes and a Century (DVD) for £8 and Gone in 60 Seconds for £10. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Speaking of CEX yesterday I traded in a sealed copy for both Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2. The store clerk didn't seem to care. He just ripped through the plastic right in front of me to take out the discs.

They always open sealed copies to check the discs and put them behind the counter in sleeves so they can put the empty cases on the shelves. Sealed films on the shelf would be more likely to be stolen.

Traded in Iron Man 1 & 2 blu ray set and Stand By Me blu ray and the guy just threw the slip cases in the bin, so I asked for them back. Do these sell well on eBay or would I be best just keeping them even though I have no box? Just seems a shame to waste.
