I don't know what it might be called in the menu, but have you made sure that the Panasonic HDTV's "Intelligent Frame Creation" is turned off? Apparently that does motion interpolation to generate new frames between existing frames.

I know that the Samsung 100/120Hz models with the motion plus setting set to anything other than Off create strange flickering on the buildings on the left at the start of this film, and that if you turn this setting to Off on the Samsung the strange flickering goes away. It might be a similar case with the Panasonic HDTV's interpolation feature.

Sound reasonable. I'll try this when back home. Thanks.

I was noticing this as well with my setup. And sure enough, I turned off the "Cinema" mode features on my Sony player and LCD and now it looks perfect.
