Picked up Valentino, Battleship Potemkin, Cry of the City and Psychomania. Worked out cheaper to get them from Music Magpie (via eBay, using the PLENTY20 code for 20% off).

Fopp Covent Garden had 2 copies of Vol 1. in this evening (£40). They haven't had Vol 2. in yet as far as I can see.

The BFI release is the Original French Theatrical Version (same as French BD) whereas the Criterion release is the International version hence the 5 min difference.

Absolutely.
When the movie was recently restored in 4K, they also managed to retrieve the elements that were previously cut and reinstated them. The Criterion disc having been released 8 years before this restoration, it uses the older cut restoration.

Is there a way to tell by looking at the disc? Is v2 printed on it?
