Picked up my ISP at opening. There were about 4-6 of these on the shelves before people started picking through them. Probably not too many left at my store now. Happy Hunting!!!

Probably over a dozen of these and Winter Soldier available at local Best Buy... the same store that listed none available for pre-order.

These aren't selling out. I picked both up because they'll be worth something in a few years. I still prefer to watch the 3D versions.

Eh, those days are pretty much behind us. In a few years they will probably hold their retail value, if anything maybe a little more, but these are just way too mass produced now. All of the recent Marvel 4K catalog steelbook releases are still easily available. For something to go up in value its needs to be pretty rare/limited.

The 3D Steelbooks for WS and CW are probably worth something. Helps that they were actually collectible and have better artwork.

I got $85 for both when I sold mine last month. So at least they paid for the new 4K steels.

Things aren't as "rare" or "collectible" as they used to be. The only movies I have that get a good return are oop and Twilight Time first run movies. I did do well selling the Black Pather and Ragnarok 4k steelbooks but I wasn't going to rewatch those movies anyway so got a good return. I'm trying to do the same with the Solo 4k steelbook but no luck as of yet

Looks like $56 - $75. Some others had higher list prices but ended with Best Offer accepted, which there's no way to see what they got but likely in the same neighborhood as buyers will make an offer based on recent ended auctions.

Didn't pick up the Cap steelbooks today, will just wait for a sale. The shelves at the store where I picked up my Alien 4K steelbook were overflowing with all three Captain America steelbooks. These will probably sit for a while

Guess you haven't been paying attention. I remember getting almost $70 for GOTG 2 3D,4K Best Buy steel not long after it came out. I buy 2 copies of not all but a number of my best buy steelbooks, not that I don't return the second one within 30 days sometimes but not to often. I'm just speaking about Best Buy steelbooks now. Not every Marvel, Star Wars, or Big time action Flick sells for more than retail but at worst you'll break even or dam close, or just holding a copy can work for a while and it may go up.
There have been countless releases that have sold for 2x the retail price or more.

These are ballpark prices of a couple more recent titles as of today: Solo $65, Bumblebee $60, Rouge One $90, Thor Ragnarock 4K $65, Ant Man and the Wasp $65.
The older titles Ant-Man, Captain America WS 3D, Dr. Strange and so on $75-$100. A couple like GOTG vol. 1 are $100+ That's just at a glance.
This may stop at some point but not recently. Bumblebee is a great example of a film that did pretty good but not Marvel numbers at the Box Office and did better than the studio thought so they didn't print nearly as many steelbooks as they should have and those were completely sold out in less than a week. Just a few thoughts I could go on but I don't want to write a novel.

The review states that the package is identical to the wide release, when in fact this is the only way to get the movies with disc cover art. Wide releases are boring, all-blue discs and these look amazing. Might be the only reason I decide to get them. Noticed that all Disney - BestBuy steelbook releases follow this trend, might be good to mention that in the reviews.
