Gotta question your clockwise skills, Rapta me old chum. That one was 50p. Strangely, it was stickered at £2.50, but after a confab the two ladies in the shop decided that 50p was a better price. I didn’t argue.

You can tell from the cover that’s definitely a saving of at least £1.14.

£2.99 and £1.99 respectively at BHF. Second copy of Zulu that I’ve seen in recent weeks. I passed on the first one, but this was meant to be. Caddyshack is a U.S. BD; you don’t find many of those in U.K. chazzas.

At 4€ apiece these were a bit pricier than I would expect but I was so surprised to see a sizeable arrival of blu-ray imports in my local French thrift store (that usually only carries a mediocre selection of DVDs), I had to pick a few.

Not a blu-ray but I did pick this up on DVD for £1 recently. Strange that it's never been upgraded anywhere.

Found this today for just £2.99:

Not sure I'll ever actually play it unless I got a decent soundsystem but figured it's hard to come by and was basically mint condition.

Oh yeah I also saw both Sweeney! and Sweeney 2 for £5.99 each in Oxfam. Thought that wasn't a bad price for either considering they were only released in February, but then decided they might show up in a future Network sale for even less than that so I held off.

That copy of Age of Consent is still £8.99. Nobody biting...reckon it'll drop at some point.

The Sweeney films are £11.70 at Network at the minute so 50% of isn't much cheaper. I would have been seriously tempted but probably thought the same as you.

If Age Of Consent does get reduced to a fiver or below I would be interested in it unless someone has called dibs. I think you mentioned you already own it? I have found a big fat zero of decent blu-rays in the local charity shops.

Yeah of course mate! It might even be less than a fiver if they reduce it. From experience they've had DVDs for about £12-15 and dropped them to just £1.99 or £2.99 after a number of weeks. That's how I got a very cheap copy of Mother India on DVD, as well as The Matrix Trilogy on Blu-ray for £2.99.

I'll let you know if I get it for a good price! And yes I do already own it (I think I actually paid full whack for it, so I've since taken it easy on buying Indicator titles at full price).
