But you are right. It is obscene how sheltered and extremely lucky I am. Guilty as charged. And spoiled as hell as well. I am fortunate enough to just be able to laugh at all these geniuses who are really as dumb as a bag of hammers. i don't have to depend on them for anything and don't care what they do or say. It is so liberating.

Being extremely sheltered isn’t the best environment to gain insight into the thoughts and disposition of 100 million people. Believing you have such insight from that insulated position is an amusing thought however!
