I have absolutely no stake in this whatsoever, but I'm pretty sure it's a fake just based on the use of the term "Goofball". By "professionalism" I assume you mean the complete absence of any personality, with the traditional disc seller vs collector/ATM machine relationship? Boring. I prefer Dark Force's spiciness.

Also I think it says more about people who run with the narrative without even doing their own most basic examination of the evidence, of which posted in this thread doesn't hold up with even a brief glance in this case.

I know some said they thought they saw this on Facebook but it's wholly possible a common person in their friends network shared this same faked image on Facebook as a troll which would make it appear that Dark Force posted in in their news feed unless they looked closely. It's also possible DF posted something similar but the fact that a faked image has surfaced makes me think otherwise.

You are getting the quotes mixed up, that quote is definitely from Dark Force as you can go on Facebook and read it right now. The post in question is the one about Dark Force threatening to sue.

He tried to sell Scorpion titles on his site for inflated prices and Walt threatened to sue him. It started with Dark Force saying stuff like "we will sell whatever we want for however much we want" to "well sell it for whatever you want don't sue us" it was a very funny moment on Facebook.

There's been animosity between them since the beginning as Walt felt The Demon was taking advantage of his sick brother to build up his company.

Plus there's the whole situation with City of the Living Dead which is just silly, as I don't know why anyone would want to purchase Dark Force's version with its mediocre transfer and lack of extras.

So, DF is an online store that sells other company's products (such as VS, Code Red, etc), right?! Do they also manufacture their own titles? If so, what are their specific titles/exclusives? I know "DEAD PIT" is supposed to be one, but even that seems iffy when I see Code Red stating that the deal isn't in place yet.

Sorry for my ignorance. I've tried to go to their store a few times and every time it says its "down for maintenance". Is it ever up? I've read so many negative things about the company, but would still give them a chance if they happen to have some items I'm interested in. However, its hard to tell what they have when the store is never up and running....

OFFERINGS got a pretty bad score here and when I click the link to the Amazon listing, they have it listed as KINO LORBER. So is this a Kino release sold through DF or did DF produce this? Sorry, just trying to figure out details about DF.

Ok.. so DF did the work (scanning and producing the blu-ray) and Kino distributes it. Thanks for the clarification.

OFFERINGS audio and video got really bad reviews. That's too bad. I was thinking of picking that one up to add to my huge horror collection. It's one of those titles that I remember seeing the VHS rental many times but I don't think I ever watched.

DF currently has a "partnership" with Bill of CR. Bill eventually burns all bridges so who knows how long it will last. CR and Scorpions are brothers so DF sometimes tries to sell/scalp Scorpion product. That doesn't mean DF and Scorpion work together in any way. DF doesn't sell any other label VS or Kino etc. product.

Also, some of DF's releases are actually Code Red titles that Bill was dragging his ass on releasing, so DF paid to finish the scanning and/or the disc replication. These releases have both Code Red and DF logos on them.

After visiting the VS tables (and Severin and Arrow), I'll be sure to search for the DF booth. (you know, since DF and VS are in the same league /sarc).
