Not sure if I want to blind buy the Brain even at 12 bucks. The reviews aren't too kind, and say it sort of fizzles out after a strong start. It's hard to know if it would be a title I would want to own and revisit.

Wish some of the Hammers would go down to that price.

Can't remember where I saw this, but, I read a post by Wade Williams once and he stated that he acts as an advisor to Susan Hart on how to handle her movies. He also stated how grateful she is for his input. So, take from that what you will. Myself, I say things don't look to good !

Vice Squad will definitely be a very rare blind buy for me. I'm pretty confident on that one.

VICE SQUAD sounds good now that I’ve read a bit about it. But if I were going just on that cheesy new cover art, I never would have given it a second thought. Why does everything always have to look like a comic book or a video game?

I think the first third is pretty good, but the last third is where things get really nuts. $12 is a steal for all the extras you get and the love and care Scream put into this. It's probably one of my favorite horror films of the 80's.

The Kino Insider has just confirmed that they don't have any of the following:

Demons of the Mind
Straight on Till Morning
Scars of Dracula
Blood from the Mummy's Tomb
Dr Jekyll and Sister Hyde
To the Devil a Daughter

Which surely means all the StudioCanal Hammer titles will be coming from Scream in due course. No real surprise after they confirmed Fear in the Night.

Well, I hope the wait isn't too long for Scars of Dracula. No mention of anything in relation to their Fox deal? Fox has a ton of titles I want, and hoping Shout! was able to get a ton of titles from them.

Pretty much. Alex Winter has confirmed a new edition is on the way, and since Scream are the only label licencing from Fox right now, I'd say it has to be them.

Yeah, they have started releasing Fox titles again like two months ago? They have like three coming out, including Fatso and the Alligator People.

really hoping the highlighted ones are next. I will pretty much buy 99% of Hammer horror/thriller titles. Straight On Till Morning is that rare stinkeroo from Hammer that I've never liked....
