I might actually preorder Vice Squad from the SF website. Have not done that with anything this year so far. And I used to buy everything from there.

After all that stuff going on last year with the delays and stuff, they've really gotten back on track. I've been ordering direct from them again since late last year, and everything has been coming in waayyy ahead of street date. Several I've gotten more than a month before street date. Others have been the standard two weeks.

I've had no issues as of late.

Same here. I did a few “catch up” sale orders, and am now all caught up on the CEs and Shout Select titles I had saved.
Basically it all works out in the end.
Now I’m looking forward to these exciting Corman line steelbooks.

Yeah, all my preorders are coming in like clock work. I love these guys. Now if we could just teach them how to do a proper sale....

I think so. There was a thread that opened up not too long ago about Basic Instinct on UHD but I can't recall if it was in regards to the poster wanting it to get released or if it was for a SC region B UHD release that's coming soon.

Artwork for “Vice Squad” is horrendous. It makes
the movie look like a comedy and that is so far
off. Scream needs to go with the original artwork.

They usually include the original cover art on the flipside.

They've said the original one sheet will be on the reverse.

Decided to watch both The Brain and Brainscan tonight. These were both first ever viewings. Both looked and sounded great and right up there with the best Scream Factory has offered in my opinion. The Brain wasn't bad, though I wouldn't say I loved it. It was fun mindless entertainment which really is all I ever want from most Scream Factory releases. Brainscan on the other hand I really liked. I think Nostalgia played a big role in my enjoyment of this one as it just oozed early 90's and since I was/am only a couple years younger than Ed Furlong watching this film took me back to my youth. It's goofy at times sure, but overall I actually thought it was fairly well done and I'm a bit surprised that it doesn't have a bigger following/fanbase. I have no doubt that I'll watch this one many times more over the years to come. I just wish I had seen the film sooner as I have no doubts I would have enjoyed it growing up.

Loved listening to Cliff MacMillen and Jeff Nelson from Scream Factory on the Brainwaves podcast. A lot of fascinating stuff there. Although my favorite part was when everyone threw serious shade at Susan Hart (without calling her out by name). ;^_^

I actually really dug Brainscan until the last 10-15 minutes. The ending was really bad IMHO and didn't live up to what came before it. The film is nice and dark too.

They both rate a strong 4 out of 5 for me so I love 'em both. Depending on my mood I can see either one rating tops....
