I'm so frustrated this ever continuing silence about NIGHTMARE (1981). Not a word about it anywhere. For fu*k sake, is it going to be released or not??? Would Massacre Video take a minute for an answer.

Or worst. Why in the hell they put out the pre announcement in the first place, if nobody bothers to tell anything about the status of the up coming release or even that so called "New Master" from the film. Whole situation smells like Code Red.

They have multiple films they are working on. It's in line, there's a few ahead of it, one being The Devil, which is a much bigger deal.

Only part way through Dead American Woman and I already know this is a bad one. Beyond tasteless, badly acted, utterly absurd...John Waters and teenage Rob Zombie are probably proud.

Opening with an old, unintelligible, man taking a dump in the woods (yes you see it, yes they pan to a "no dumping" sign) the tone is set quickly. Violence and vomit shortly follow, as does a great go-go dancing scene. Depraved characters, senseless violence and tasteless jokes..I'm all in!

Code Red was going to put it out through Kino at the same time Massacre Video announced it. It might be going through some legal rumblings. Or maybe it's just taking longer than expected to scan.

* American Rampage / Danger USA (aka Mind Trap) will be hitting manufacturing next week. A release date will be coming next week.

* Mr. No Legs (aka Killers Die Hard) / Avon Triple Feature set will be finished by the end of the month and then be sent to replication with a release date following shortly after.

* Final touches are being put on Toxic Zombies and The Devil.

I'm really curious to see how improved Toxic Zombies/Forest of Fear is - all the copies I ever been able to find are really, really rough. Like really terrible VHS rough.
