Fantastic news. Re: the box, I hope it's the same kind of design, darker background with a spot-glossed pic of the Iran Man helmet floating in the middle. And if they do a Thor one, then ditto but with Thor's hammer as the spot-glossed item in question.

Yeah if it's another well-priced box set, I'll bite. Otherwise I'll just buy these individually as they go on sale and put the discs in the German Steelbook.

Looking for Best Buy making three steelbooks in the U.S. to keep my set going. So far I have gotten all of the MCU as they are released in 4K steels.

I can see them doing individuals and a boxset for Thor/TDW as Ragnarok has already had an individual release.

Regarding IM, they will more than likely go for the same styled box like they did for Cap. No reason not to.

(In all seriousness I have seen this spelling used before though, no clue if it's actually a valid alternative or not. I think it's used more in relation to literature, could be wrong though)

Yes, I thought the same about the Thorses getting individuals so that people aren't forced to buy Ragnarok again (not that I don't love it, but I've already got it on 4K, 3D and 2D so another 4K edition is entirely superfluous). I'm in two minds as I'd love to get a Thor boxset in the same stylee as Cap and Iran Man, but the slipcover for Ragnarok 4K is gorgeousness personified. Could always keep the slip and just sell my existing 4K copy when the times comes, I suppose.

YES! I can't wait! Just need those Thor films getting a UK release now in September.

After this, I imagine we're looking at the final three MCU catalogue titles being released on UHD over the course of 2020. Especially if the rumours of Doctor Strange 2 being fast-tracked for November 2020 are true.

I wouldn't. The German ones are just plain badly handled, I'm not saying that Disnee won't do similar things e.g. noise reduction but because ze Germans slathered so much more sharpening on top there's this gritty frozen grain on all three titles, IM1 is an absolute shit show and IM2 isn't far behind. IM3 holds up far better, as I expect a digitally-shot movie would do, but the 'grain' still looks very weird and frozen on VFX shots.

Nah, I'm actually expecting good things of Disney this time around. Ditto for the Thors.
