There's probably a few more I've left out. Of these, I'd say the following have a shot at the CE treatment: Death Sentence, Strange Days, The Fly II, maybe Club Dread.
I'd love to see both of these get the Shout Select CE treatment.

I'd also love an Omen box set.
The current Omen boxset has to hold the title for the most poorly constructed, laziest boxset in the history of the format. The case is entirely paper. I own it, but I'd buy a new set simply for the packaging.

Perhaps there were more rights considerations than what was initially believed.

On top of that, it seems very likely that Scream would have acquired The Fly II in their Fox deal, which leads me to suspect they might also have Cronenberg's The Fly. Unless Fox have done a recent restoration they'd be using the same transfer as the existing Blu, but I doubt that will put Scream off if The Entity is any indication.

And there are of course a number of other Fox titles they might wish to give the double-dip CE treatment:

The Omen (I believe this at least has had a 4K restoration we've yet to see utilized)
Damien: The Omen II
Omen III: The Final Conflict
Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992)
The X-Files: Fight the Future
From Hell
Joy Ride
28 Days Later
Wrong Turn
The Hills Have Eyes (2006)
The Omen (2006)
28 Weeks Later

While I don't think any of these particularly needs the CE treatment (especially since this will involve using the existing master in almost every case), this is Scream we're talking about...
A collectors edition of the first Omen film seems plausible... though I suspect that if Scream Factory were going to go through the trouble it'd make more sense to just do a new box set. The original trilogy and remake scans are all from over a decade ago at this point and so using the new 4k scan for the first film in a new Blu Ray release/set (leaving Fox/Disney to release a UHD on their own time) would make the most sense. Throw in some new 2k scans of parts 2 and 3... use the existing master for part 4, and although I don't particularly care for it... release a re-mastered edition of the remake all complete in individual cases/artwork with whatever commentaries/special features that can be ported over/created for the set and you'd have yourself a respectable box set that would likely be as definitive of a release as a fan could hope for.

Outside of The Fly, The Fly II, and The Omen films however, I wouldn't be interested in picking up any of the other titles mentioned.

It does. It's been available for the better part of the last 7-8 years. It's nothing amazing, but looks perfectly suitable for what it is... (A low budget made for tv movie).

Would happily double-dip on an OMEN complete set just to ditch the godawful flimsy cardboard box packaging of the current release. Ugliest thing in my collection.

Omen 1 is already loaded with extras so I can’t think of what else they can add to it. The sequels though have plenty of room for more extra features.

I think the main selling point with a theoretical Shout release is for the new remaster that Fox did but haven't put on disc yet.

I'm always a fan of big franchise retrospective style documentaries and feel like that would be the way to go. Beyond that though, pretty much anything for parts 2-4 would be new as you mentioned as nothing was included on the previous releases. So while the original may not see much in the way of new special features the sequels all have plenty of opportunity.

-New improved picture quality
-New/improved audio
-Improved packaging (individual cases/boxset)
-First time ever Blu Ray release of Part IV
-HD trailers for all films
-New commentaries on parts 2-4 if possible
-Any behind the scenes materials still left for parts 2-4
-A Franchise retrospective which could look at the cast, the effects, the score, the critical reception, the home video market, the decision to release a made for tv movie, "the Omen curse" etc.
-A Horror's Hallowed Grounds perhaps?

Hell even something completely original and unique such as a feature length look at 70's Religious horror themed films and what was going on in America at the time would prove incredibly interesting and make the set worth purchasing if Scream Factory wanted to go that direction.

I was looking into trading in my double feature dvd with Hell Night, however if we are not sure that it is coming out then I will hold onto it as I really love the movie.

Any information would be awesome.

Thanks again,

In other words, no, we are not certain that they will release Fade to Black.

Even if they definitely do have it, I would still hold off on trading in the DVD double feature until the Blu-Ray has been released, just in case the title falls through, for whatever reason, or there are issues with the transfer.

It wouldn't be surprising, though, if their deal with Fox was limited to titles that don't have domestic Blu-Ray releases or had previously been licensed to and released by Anchor Bay and have since gone OOP. Some of the more significant titles listed above, might still have enough cachet to warrant a UHD release.

Someone mentioned Club Dread...I would LOVE to own this on Blu-ray. The German Strange Days disc looks and sounds fantastic; if Shout/Scream can match that and add some new features, I'd get that one, too.

I agree that the packaging for The Omen boxset is horrid.

True. I hope that is the case, as most of these don't need releases with more extras. Though it was that rumour about Big Trouble which got me thinking. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

I don't know what type of camera they used to shoot 28 Days Later but the end result looks extremely ugly. I never upgraded to BD because of it. UHD would just compound the flaws to an unwatchable level methinks. It's too bad because the film is one of the best apocalyptic horror films ever made.

I don't see that getting a UHD release. Most of the movie was shot on digital video with a resolution less then 720P.

Was it implied somewhere that they do?
In their recent podcast, I believe they said they are unable to communicate with the current rights holder.
Which of course contradicted an earlier report from someone who attended a Halloween convention last year and said that producer Irwin Yablans revealed Scream were going to put out Fade to Black. It's possible Irwin had heard they were trying to get it, and jumped to conclusions, who knows? Alternatively, maybe Scream were being a touch dishonest on the podcast? After all, it's not the first time they've deliberately misled on such things. They're never going to confirm a major title is coming.
I was one of those whom asked Yablans about Fade To Black at that convention (I wasn't the only one; I elected to stay quiet about it, and the news still got out there). As you said, it could be either that Yablans was mistaken about it being 100% confirmed, and thought negotiations with all the parties were further along than he'd realized, or that Shout/Scream is trying to hide a big title announcement AGAIN. It could also be that things fell through after the fact. That's been known to happen on occasion as well.

To the original poster, I'd hang onto it until we've got an actual announcement.

It's never gonna get an UHD, it was a more a joke because of its source materials.

For what it's worth, the Blu has better compression and gets rid of a lot of the ringing.

I would LOVE a new boxset of The Omen franchise. Especially a set that is Blu-ray sized and sturdy.
The one Fox released is a piece of sh*t.
