I was just wondering what people recommend and which retailer I should use!

Thanks!
I've used Monkey Depot for accessories and haven't had any issues, but I can't comment on ordering figures. Based on my experiences though I wouldn't have any problem with it. The sales tax savings may end up being a wash with the Sideshow Rewards, but at least without the sales tax you save up front. Not sure what their shipping is like on figures, either.

I've always wanted a Hot Toys Iron Man and feel more inclined to get one 'cause of Endgame but the available suits on Sideshow are currently very limited. The one thing I know I want is a full RDJ head sculpt to switch out. I've seen people sell them separately on ebay years ago so I'm fine with buying it later that way.

The suit I like the most of those currently on Sideshow is the Mark VII but the RDJ head included is inside the Iron Man mask. I'm not too picky with which unobscured RDJ head sculpt but I like the IW/Endgame sculpt a lot.

How do the heads typically attach on Iron Man HT figures? Would I be able to buy a head from a newer figure like the IW/Endgame set and swap it out easily? I watched Sideshow's Iron Spider unboxing recently and they mentioned the head was magnetic but I figured that may not be true of all figures.
....But can anyone comment on the Iron Man heads though?

Thanks for all the input guys! I did a little more digging and found a site called toy origin. For some reason they are selling 1/6th scale hot toys for a bit less than retail. It looks like they are fairly new and based in Canada. I am wondering if they are legit or if they are too good to be true. https://www.toyorigin.com/product-ca...scale-figures/

The Iron Man/Stark heads that I know of all come with the sculpted neck that attach with a ball joint inside the torso of the body. So as long as you're interchanging between the same head/body types you should be fine.

Edit: I just looked at that Mark VII and he does NOT have the sculpted neck like a lot of the Iron Mans. So you'd have to find a Stark head that doesn't have a neck. From the looks of it the Endgame/Infinity War figures would not work on the Mark VII.

Thanks, I was afraid of that. The older RDJ sculpts are pretty meh. Looks like I might be able to get an IW/Endgame head to fit on the Mark XLIII? I'm basing this off the original prototype beauty shots since there are only 4 pics on Sideshow's product page for the reissued figure but this image shows Stark's head has a neck.

Yep, that’s the type you’re looking for. The original plastic Mark VII has that type, if you really want that suit.

The Captain America Endgame figure has updated to show the additional accessories are as we thought (yay!):

[Show spoiler]Mjolnir and a broken shield!

Still no update on the Iron Man Endgame figure but I'm sure it'll be
[Show spoiler]a hand with the stones.

Just pre-ordered this. It's apparently only being sold in Europe, so no U.S. retailers will carry it.

Yesterday on Facebook, Hot Toys teased The Vulture, with the hashtag #quarter scale.

^ This ended up being a Spider-Man quarter scale figure, with The Vulture's wing being part of the base.

Anyway, they teased all of these. PIC HEAVY!

Don't believe I've posted a new figure in here for some time. Loving this guy.

The way prices, international conversion rates, and import taxes have all been sky rocketing, are you really surprised? I’m down to MAYBE 1 new figure per year at a cost that is roughly 60% of what I used to be able to get 2 figures for.

Not much to be excited about with Hot Toys lately unless you're just looking for Iron Man and Spider-Man.

I thought with all the SDCC announcements this thread would pick up...

My update is I got charged for the first payment of Captain Marvel and I got to see it up close in person at SDCC (and I'm still so happy I ordered it!) Now I'm debating between getting the Iron Gauntlet mini and Endgame Captain America. I still haven't found the perfect Iron Man for me but I do really wanna get the Mark XLIII...

Y'all weren't kidding when you said it's downhill from here...I feel like I can get all these figures but I have to tell myself I don't have space and I won't be able to afford them when my card would get charged in 2020. I'm being seduced by the beauty shots, help!
