Yep. I have the 2005 DVD of TS and definitely can confirm it has the original logo. I have the 2005 TS2 DVD as well but havent gotten around to checking it out yet so off hand I dont know what logo it has.

It predates the current Disney logo, so it can't have that one.

Regarding Toy Story 2, which digital streaming services have the original end credits without the outtakes?

So does the new Blu-ray release of Toy Story 2 delete the Stinky Pete outtake, or is it just the 4K release?

Does the previous Blu-ray have the scene on there (the one from 2015)?

I don't own the disc myself (I own the 2010 release in addition to the 4K) but I assume it's the same disc as the 2010 release.

Default New vs Older Toy story blu-ray+4k any difference with the standard blu-ray?

Hey guys,

I recently purchased the 4K blu-ray copies of Toy story 1-3. I previously had the special editions of the films, the versions that came with Blu-ray+DVD.

My question is, for the new releases 4K+Blu-ray, are there any differences in the films on the standard blu-ray to those released a few years ago? I'm asking to see if there would be any benefit to rip the films to my local streaming setup from the new blu-rays as I already have them ripped from the initial to blu-ray releases.

I currently don't rip 4k discs, so this is strictly comparing blu-ray to blu-ray copy

Thanks.

Both the UHD and BD of Toy Story 2 dropped one of the end credit scenes.

Thanks for the heads up. I don't usually watch credits, so not sure if I would have noticed. Anyway, so there isn't anything significant such as a new scan of the movie that might be better quality then my formerly purchased copies. That's mainly what I was curious about. Either way the ones I have ripped into my collection are the initial releases of the films to blu-ray.

No, otherwise the two BDs are the same.

Thanks so much. One question more, I have the digital copies that came with the movies as well, did the digital of Toy Story 2 drop the same from the ending, or did they only do this on the disc? By the way I already had a digital copy of toy story, and toy story 3, they just got a quality upgrade with this, Toy Story 2, is the first digital copy of that movie I have. From what you've said though, it's only Toy story 2, that has the slight difference at the credits, and everything else is the same to what I had initially. Thanks again, have a great day!

No clue on the digital copies and if they are altered.

If the digital copy had that before, is it gone now for those who already had it? That’s a big reason why I won’t “go digital”.

It sounds like that's the case. For me, I didn't have a digital of Toy Story 2, just 1, and 3. Those aren't changed. Apparently it's only that one scene at the end credits of Toy story 2. I do have the MKV file I ripped from the unaltered blu-ray before I gave those sets away. Honestly though the particular scene in question, I can see why they'd remove it based on the above video. So, I can take it or leave it. The movie itself isn't changed. (when it comes to story)
