Hey guys,
I recently purchased the 4K blu-ray copies of Toy story 1-3. I previously had the special editions of the films, the versions that came with Blu-ray+DVD. My question is, for the new releases 4K+Blu-ray, are there any differences in the films on the standard blu-ray to those released a few years ago? I'm asking to see if there would be any benefit to rip the films to my local streaming setup from the new blu-rays as I already have them ripped from the initial to blu-ray releases. I currently don't rip 4k discs, so this is strictly comparing blu-ray to blu-ray copy Thanks. |

Thanks for the heads up. I don't usually watch credits, so not sure if I would have noticed. Anyway, so there isn't anything significant such as a new scan of the movie that might be better quality then my formerly purchased copies. That's mainly what I was curious about. Either way the ones I have ripped into my collection are the initial releases of the films to blu-ray.

Thanks so much. One question more, I have the digital copies that came with the movies as well, did the digital of Toy Story 2 drop the same from the ending, or did they only do this on the disc? By the way I already had a digital copy of toy story, and toy story 3, they just got a quality upgrade with this, Toy Story 2, is the first digital copy of that movie I have. From what you've said though, it's only Toy story 2, that has the slight difference at the credits, and everything else is the same to what I had initially. Thanks again, have a great day!

It sounds like that's the case. For me, I didn't have a digital of Toy Story 2, just 1, and 3. Those aren't changed. Apparently it's only that one scene at the end credits of Toy story 2. I do have the MKV file I ripped from the unaltered blu-ray before I gave those sets away. Honestly though the particular scene in question, I can see why they'd remove it based on the above video. So, I can take it or leave it. The movie itself isn't changed. (when it comes to story)
