I'm sure if this whiny crybaby got screwed out of money he was owed, he wouldn't be such a douchbag.
Why don't you try to work hard on something, and right or wrong, someone else comes along with whispers of shelving that thing which you put so much of your time and energy on and see if you begin singing their praises.

I don't think so.

I can make a fan film of any Fox property I want. It's not until I'm attempting to make money is there an issue.
I agree Fox had some legal rights, but there is another piece to consider - Fox and WB were pitched the movie at the same time basically. Fox had no interest at that point in producing the property. They pretty much snubbed the guy that was pitching it.

That's the piece that I find distasteful - basically they had no interest in producing the film or in letting anyone else produce it.

Damn I hear so many bad things about Fox. Stepping in and not allowing the director to make the movie he/she envisioned. Toning down movies for a PG-13 rating (Live Free or Die Hard for example). Cancelling TV shows without giving much of a chance (or promotion for that matter). Etc.

This whole mess with Fox vs Warner thank God its over but Fox new they were making this movie the whole time and yes they should have stepped in the second they found out but they didnt and warner probably new they didnt own it but that didnt stop them. Its like building a house on a piece of land that you probably new wasn't yours but you start building this house and the owners drive by not saying anything just looking then 6 months down the road you have this beautiful home thats almost completely done there rolling the sod out and your standing there looking at this house that you put your blood and sweat into and some guys comes up to you hand you a legal paper and tells you he owns the land. Yea that would suck

Very very inaccurate analogy. Again, Fox had no case until the movie was announced for release.

It's not like they waited til the last minute. This all started around a year ago.
