Yeah, that makes sense now Being in Europe myself, the cheapest way for me to get a hold of US stock is via Amazon, and although I heard a lot of scary stories about them, so far they’ve been nice to me (fingers crossed)

The price has changed on wow, Phil! Only it's not gone in the direction we wanted, it's now £16.07. Still, even with the customs 20% that's like £19 which is roughly the same as a zoom with 10% off pre-order anyway, should we get a UK release of it at all.

But if it doesn't drop to below £15 on wow then I'll hang on for a bit and mop it up in a 4 for 40 offer on amazon.it or .es later on. A good price on go peachy or decluttr would also be acceptable

Oh, I see. It has been showing for a good while in the advertisement section of this site. Thought it had been out and was going on sale.

Thanks for the clarification. Sorry if I confused anyone.

So it appears US release isnt getting the BD included in the pack? Only UHD and Digital. Is this correct?

Yes.

There's no extras on the feature BD, so you're not missing anything.

Pretty sure the bundled Blu-ray is just the one with the special features. It's UHD of the movie and BD of the bonuses, plus a digital copy. So two discs.

You can get this gorgeous BD Steel for $10 right now and just put the 4K disc in it when it comes out. That's what I did.

I didn't have time to write out my review yet, but quick impressions:

Blu-ray disc is already really great, so I wouldn't say this disc a HUGE step-up, but you can definitely notice the difference in HDR, contrast and black levels. (black levels, more so at the end of the film)

Something to note: there are quite a few reference grade close-ups, but the camera work and the variety of cameras used in this film counteract constantly. When things slow down with conversation, BAM! crazy PQ. When action is rolling it dips to a bump over the Blu, with added HDR.

I'll follow back with the full writeup.

Those the disc come with a ton of audio/subs? Is it a BD-100?

United Kingdom Boom!

UK Pre-order (Release 8th July)

Zoom

EDIT: Also, the UK release seems to be a three disc set (and includes the movie on standard blu) if the description and artwork are to be believed.

This is a terrific film; it should benefit tremendously from a Dolby Atmos audio soundtrack ... elevated surrounds and subs.

And the HDR black levels should sparkle with dense inky oily darkness.
Very exited on this one, same as when I was with Black Hawk Down...I wasn't let down.

From what I've read so far right here . . . It's a beautiful Blu day coming up in two weeks ... 13 days and 13 hours.
