The panels are definitely helping with keeping the sound from bouncing around too much. I do think I need to add some more though. As well as get something to absorb the sound on the ceiling. However, I am happy with what this first step has accomplished

Your room looks great!! Why did the water end up coming in? I would try and future proof that and avoid water from coming in the future. You don't want to damage any of your gear.
