I got the FNAC version and am generally pleased with it. My biggest gripe is that the discs are stacked and difficult to remove from the case.

There is no track listing for the included soundtrack sampler CD, but here's what I believe are the titles:

1 Everything I Need (Film Version) - Skylar Grey
2 Arthur - Rupert Gregson-Williams
3 Kingdom of Atlantis - Rupert Gregson-Williams
4 It Wasn't Meant to Be - Rupert Gregson-Williams
5 The Legend of Atlan - Rupert Gregson-Williams
6 Swimming Lessons - Rupert Gregson-Williams
7 What Could Be Greater Than a King? - Rupert Gregson-Williams
8 He Commands the Sea - Rupert Gregson-Williams
9 Map in a Bottle - Rupert Gregson-Williams
10 Ocean to Ocean - Pitbull (featuring Rhea)

That is based on comparing the running times of the FNAC CD tracks to the running times I found for the tracks of the full soundtrack.

They lured us with a bonus disc, they kept us kinda happy making it a soundtrack CD and then they cut it in half

I know, I know, luckily I chose it over the non-exclusive 4K/3D edition for the artwork and not the music... But to be fair Fnac depend completely on the content provided by Warner France (who in turn depend on Warner Home Video)...
In this case I think a bonus disc may well have been planned but then WB realised they could fit everything on the one disc. The incomplete soundtrack disc was plan B, allowing Warner France to fulfil its exclusivity agreement with Fnac, but without undermining WaterTower Music.
...I guess? At least we got all the available bonuses (100+ minutes)...

I just find it hard to believe that the 3D disc doesn't have a single lossless audio track
I'm just using it as shorthand. "DTS-HD" from me = Lossless DTS-HD Master Audio. If something has High Res rather than lossless then I note it as such.

Wow was charged 23$ in duties. That’s ridiculous and like 30% of the value....

That sucks... But 30%? How much did you pay for the steelbook, like $76 ?! Technically the value of the Fnac exclusive is $32.55 plus postage, while the wide release (available on Amazon + Fnac) has been the same or cheaper...

On the bright side, just remember that while Amazon Europe and Fnac remove European VAT on orders exported outside of Europe, Amazon US is not allowed to remove US VAT on orders they export outside the US... I guess what I'm trying to say is, at least you weren't taxed twice for the item (which Europeans usually are, when importing from the US)!

You were actually charged about $7.50 in duty. The shipping company, DHL Express, who were already paid to ship it, added a "$15 "service fee" + taxes for prepaying the duty for you.

It's one reason I likely will never buy from FNAC again. Compared to Amazon.fr (who include the duty in their quote), that bonus disk plus the faster shipping cost you about $25 CAD.

This is the first I've heard of Amazon Europe including a foreign VAT upon checkout, other than for Switzerland (whose government forced Amazon to do this from January 2019 onwards).
Usually Amazon only ever includes foreign duty when the customer chooses an "Amazon Global" shipping option (which involves them getting the package through all customs without further charging you).
Do you mean that for Canadian addresses, Amazon FR removes European VAT, then adds Canadian HST, during checkout, regardless of the shipping option chosen (and by extension, whether or not the customer wants it included)?

FYI sometimes Amazon FR don't have any 4K+3D steelbook option, while Fnac always do if one exists in France (e.g. upcoming Shazam).

Well that sucks. If you've removed the shrinkwrap, there ain't any hope... The returns process is their Achilles heel, IMO, although I've never had to go through with it by post (I drove over the border into France once to make two returns in store, as the unopened returns were my own decision, so I didn't want to pay return postage). I've actually never heard of anyone ever receiving a dented Steelbook from Fnac before, so you're really unlucky.

Don't contact them by phone unless you want to lose brain cells, try to send the SAV (Service Après-Vente = After-Sales Service) a message/email first using this contact webpage. In French if you can (I've never tried in English but it could work). If I were you I would select the reason "Le produit ne fonctionne pas", as they do not have a 'damaged item' option in the drop-down menu (and if you select "Retourner un produit" they will just think it's a 'normal' return because you no longer want the product).
If I were you I would also describe the damage as more serious than a dent but that's just my personal advice...
Good luck!
