The announcement of the terrible Jennifer Beals film, which I'd already been henpecked to describe to several people, so they could be certain they didn't want it (except in one case where the guy has terrible taste), has turned out to be a mistake based in the similarity of film titles. Yippie!

VS is actually releasing the John Leguizamo vampire movie, which I saw under the name "Nite Owl". It is actually a decent movie that a lot of people here will like. I've sent emails to people letting them know to reconsider the June package (you know if you're on that list) but wanted to tell people here, in case you decided against it and "Night Owl" was part of the reason, "Night Owl" is the "Night Owl"/"Nite Owl" about the New York vampire, not the stupid woman and the radio host and is worth a look.


I should have read that second update email about the sale as this information is right there.... All the way down at the bottom.

Got my first order in for all the new ones and then some. Frank Stallone and Chris Mitchum; Tab Hunter and Lainie Kazan; with a bucketload of Divine on top of it.... Seems like someone was thinking of just what they could do to make me happy. Thank you guys, over at VS, for opting to release these films. They are both really fun movies.

Nothing to do with this sale but thought I'd mention it for kicks. I ordered some empty cases from VS last week and they shipped but they're mysteriously headed south from me (I'm in NYC). They went to Washington DC and are currently in North Carolina. I'm picturing the Three Stooges handling this batch of mail and making one blunder after another

Both just say slip is limited to 3,000 so i would think they will have standard versions down the road.

Frank Stallone man. Buy just off the name. I mean, yeah, the film is actually really good. It's been a while but I remember it and loved it, but that guy's awesome and never gets any credit.
