Savage Harbor is fun in the same way as the average 80s-90s Michael Pare film, and even sports a very similar plot to several of them. You kind of can't go wrong with the "Dude Saves Hooker" storyline, if you put in the base effort, and they actually did more than that. They did a good job on this one.

Lust in the Dust is ridiculous but funny. It has a peculiar humour but Hunter, Kazan and Divine were each rather perfectly cast and up to the challenge. It is hammy and way, way over the top but, again, a good ride.

Those are the two I couldn't believe they were releasing, because they are mainstream films I would have expected from a major studio but, also, remembering that you know I love VS, but it has to be said, they often release quirky, odd, independent type films that you might only watch once. Blood Hook leaps to mind as does HHoH5. Savage Harbor and Lust in the Dust are good for repeat viewings because you will remember them and they each strike a particular mood.
