Works both ways. It's always been in-store only, but fairly recently they started allowing it for certain In store pickup online orders.

So it didn’t work earlier today, but now that it’s been hours later the cartwheel discount works...(?whatever?)...long story short.
However, the website showing one in stock at each of 3 closest stores was wrong, once ordered for in store pickup, it came back as not in stock. I may go pick up each of the BD/DVD sets for $5 each, might make a nice gift, or, I may just keep them for the extra bonus items. |

For those that bought the 4K set of S2, were any of you able to have a flawless set without a single disc having a scratch? Multiple reports months back of people finding so many scratches on multiple discs is making me hesitate from picking one up lol

God only knows. Target and Netflix, in their infinite wisdom, never announce a release of the Blu-ray and 4k sets until the very last moment. They don't even state anything in the A/V trade rags like other studios. Plus, you have to guess about the specs until the moment someone actually buys one and posts it on sites like this. |

Season 1 released July 2016, disc released October 2017. Season 2 released October 2017, disc released November 2018. Season 3 releases July 2019, disc release probably August-October 2020. Possible tie-in release if there is to be a Season 4. |

Didn't get the 4k, just settled for the blu-ray sets for both seasons. Target had them for five dollars a set (combined with cartwheel). So it was about 5.40 for each season. I had trouble playing the first disc on the season one--it was really noisy but then it stopped. I don't have Netflix anymore so this will do for now (had a free three month trial through Playstation for some reason. Never arguing with free!). Love the series. The covers are huge, but they're so retro and are similar to VHS so I don't mind so much.

You really should have bought the 4k set of the 2nd Season. It was a massive improvement over the half-baked Season 1 4k set that was pretty much a let down. This time it had proper HDR (would have liked 12 bit DV and Dolby Atmos, but you can't have everything), good uptick in detail, wide color gamut, 24 bit lossless audio. Since there were fewer episodes per disc, the bitrate had room to breathe as well. |

Just picked up the 4K set for season 2. I had 2 discs in my set that were off the foam hubs and had a hard time fitting them back on til I figured it out. I was trying to press them on like normal but since the hubs are foam it’s a bit trickier. I found that turning the discs while slightly pushing down works like a charm. They twist right on.
Not sure if anyone else has this problem, but if anyone does I hope this helps. |

Stranger Things is still planned for 4 seasons. I'm hoping Target doesn't get rid of physical media before every season gets a UHD release.
I have a feeling when Disney starts their streaming service, Netflix is going to get really stringy about physical releases. They are going to want people to subscribe to see their content. Disney will likely do the same. |

Is the season 2 UHD substantially better than streaming?
