This is the second time recently that Fry's has not updated titles to reflect the prices in the weekly ad. I went in stores very early this morning near opening to pick up Mary Queen of Scots on 4K since $19.99 was a pretty darn good deal. I was going to order for store pickup after the prices adjusted in the morning, but the movie never adjusted. It also never showed up when I clicked the section displaying it in the weekly ad. Neither does Mortal Engines and I think 1-3 other 4Ks listed at the $19.99 Sunday only price.
Thankfully the Fry's I went to looked at the weekly ad and fixed the price for me without any hassle this time. But it's annoying to have to get a manager called over (and have to worry about whether they'll make it easy or a hassle) because Fry's can't simply update their prices themselves on their website... Anyway, I ended up with Mary Queen of Scots on 4K for $19.99 and somehow I caught the Sheba Baby blu-ray from Arrow with a $14.98 price sticker. They honored it even though it rang up as $19.99 which was nice. Price matched the Ex Machina 4K to Amazon ($10) as well and I found a really cool blu-ray collection called the "Iconic Collection Best Critics" that includes The Wailing, Ip Man 3, The Villainess, and Train to Busan! Overall, pretty happy ![]() |
