The newest announcement from David has the release date on Dead Pit at around two weeks from now. He posted a clip of the new HD transfer which boasts excellent color. The scene highlights green and red balance, human skin that looks the way it is supposed to, on a living person, even with all the green light in the background, and blood that also looks how it should, changing with the lighting, red in normal light, washed by the green in the stair sequence. It also showcases nice detail. To see for yourself, you can check at: https://www.facebook.com/15854242143...7095008876079/

and the updated posts are here:

Also noticed someone was wondering how this could end up being a big seller, when limited to 1000 copies. The Limited Edition, with the box that was difficult and time consuming to get, is a run of 1000. There will be a standard edition of the Blu-ray after that sells out, although not immediately, as it would have to be ordered, pressed and packaged.

All the features from the DVD are ported over to the Blu-ray, interviews and all that, as well.

I'll be 49 in July. But you know what they say. Age is just a number.

I was neither angst-y enough to be part of generation X nor am I a PC warrior that millennials tend to be. I consider myself part of the Oregon Trail generation, right in between.

Millennials are good people, just trying to find their way in life like we all have to do.

Just noticed that the Dark Force superstar has some really great Memorial Day sale prices going on. $49.99 for The Devastator! Get your order in before they sell out.

https://darkforcesuperstore.com/the-...-ray-code-red/

Or you can head on over to Screen Archives and pick it up for $24.99. It's very rare and OOP.

Lol I’m sure poor David would never try to gouge prices based on false claims of scarce availability. Meanwhile signed bananaman diaper #2/20 remains unsold over at the Dark Force superstore even after the price has been slashed by 50%. Remember each adult diaper is individually wrapped and numbered

Sometimes you guys go a bit over the top with your expectations of poor Bill. With everything he is going through, he doesn't always remember who has what of his stock, right now or last week, or at what price, going to what sale price. If he tells David to sell it at the price he would set, were he still managing the Code Red Cartel store, and David does it, you act like it is a gouging scheme on the part of these men, as though you are picturing them in some darkened room somewhere, cackling over evil schemes.

Bill routinely, when relatively healthy, forgot someone was selling a title and marked it up ten or twenty dollars more. Then, after someone pointed it out, the title would go away, or the store would close. And, then, that title or the entire store would come back, with that title's price neatly positioned between those two competing prices, just after the other outlet had sold out. He's just a guy trying to make a living and it would be very difficult to scour all of his outlets, every day, just to make sure he wasn't overcharging, on one title, via the Dark Force Superstore. I don't suppose you guys could cut Bill and David some slack, as though you also have normal human flaws, because that would be really decent of you and I would certainly prefer that, over the criticism.

A brave man indeed.... I wouldn't put up a photo of how I looked or what I was doing in 1990, let alone a video tape people could watch and upload to the interwebs.... Very brave.
