I saw a very nice 1992 35mm print of Batman Returns last year projected at the Filmhouse Cinema in Edinburgh, Scotland. It looked almost exactly like the new “teal” remastered screenshots. I remember specifically noticing how teal the blues looked when watching the print, so believe this new remaster to be quite accurate from what I’ve seen thus far.

There was a lot of Christmas scenes for Batman Returns. There never was any TEAL in this. This is a FAIL release if you ask me.

I noticed it in the cinema, it's so he can rip his mask off and not be panda eyes

If the UHD can reign in the worst of the cyan madness of the BD, then 89 looks like it could be reasonably accurate.

Yuck!

It reminds me of some ugly artifacts in The Matrix UHD, visible both in HDR10 and Dolby Vision. I'm afraid what we're seeing here will also be present on B89 UHD.
