Cool! I never got around to picking up the one that was released several years ago, so I'll wait for this one.

Would prefer somebody get around to releasing what's not yet on blu, but will consider getting this.

I like the movie, but I'm fine with the MGM.

Sort of agree but the Scorpion edition will probably have better artwork and, more importantly, extras. IIRC the MGM release was barebones?

Yeah would rather have Forced Vengeance, The Hitman or Hellbound.
The MGM disc is fine for me as well, looked pretty good from memory.

Will definitely swap my MGM release for this. Bring it!

Obscure fact: Chuck Norris has counted to infinity....twice!

Interested. And I like what Scorpion did with the Octagon. Still hoping someone can get Forced Vengeance on Blu-ray. It's one of the Chuck's best movies, and one of the only ones still without an HD release.

Better artwork argument amazes me, I can just print of the artwork myself and save $20 if all I want is better artwork. As for extras, the picture better be a noticeable upgrade and the extras more than just a few minutes of talking heads.

Chuck Norris doesn't do interviews for special features anymore, so they are gonna have to do something cool to really get my attention.

The “this already exists on BD somewhere on the planet, and therefore is negating something that isn’t on BD somewhere on the planet from being released” amazes me.
Having options is always a good thing.
Labels license stuff they can get and that they think will sell. Sometimes that involves going back to the well on a certain title.

One release never cancels out another, unless of course sales are horrible. But that's a different story altogether.

Never really occurred to me think that since X is getting released, Y got the shaft.

Decided to spin the MGM again. I’ll be curious how the remaster looks. The MGM at least has a fair amount of grain looking filmic. I hope it’s retained.

Aside from the new 2K master, I'm hoping Scorpion tracks this down:

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0267713/

Never seen this myself, but the Vestron Video mention at the bottom makes me think this may have had a video release somewhere. Would also be interesting to see new interviews with surviving cast members.
